Closing Sidebar

When I try to close the "ping" new feature announcement on my sidebar it only closes for one page, but when I click another link it is back open again.

@pwuffy Yeah i think so too. it might also be because new announcements dont come up until you refresh the page.

let me know if this happens again. i've adjusted something that i believe will prevent this.

@ian it worked for a while. but now the "IMPORTANT PRIVATE BETA UPDATE!" thing pops back up again after i close it once.

mine stays closed, but if i click the "back" button it becomes open again 😊
