"Fine but I can't help you anymore." I reply over my shoulder. I leave camp and shift to my cat form leaping onto a tree and climbing it to view the sky.

Jacob walked in as Sammy left. "What happened?" He asked.

"Oh, Sammy offered me an easy death." Storm smiled, but it was more of a grimace.

"So, did you take her up on her offer?" Jacob said.

"Why on earth would I do that?!" Storm said, outraged, "I got people counting on me. I'm not just going to... go die!"

Jacob just laughed, and sat on the edge of Storm's cot. "That's what I thought you'd say."

I make my way up a tree. "If you guys are up htere." I call to our ancestors "Tell me if Storm is going to join you or not." I plea and almost instantly I fall asleep..

Storm painfully morphed back to human. "Jacob..." She said softly, "I love you."

"I know." Jacob smiled, the simple words making him feel a bit better.

I wake up in a small clearing with many faces around me. I gaze around and notice that the previous healer was among them "Storm will.." The voice started

Jacob grabbed Storm's hand, and Storm felt stronger. The pain was still there, but she could live. No. She /would/ live.

Aoife scowled. "Well, I'm not like them. I was once told by a... dear friend that helping people was my 'thing'." Aoife smiled, but it was a bit sad.

"She's... uh, more of a sister to me, and right now, she's not in the best shape... Would you mind if I went and saw her?" A small tear slid down Aoife's cheek. Storm wouldn't die, right?

"Jacob, I just want to let you know that I'm not dying." Storm said, a hint of sarcasm in her voice. "Great." Jacob replied smoothly, "I was really worried." They both laughed, but were silenced when Storm cringed.

"I'm fine." Storm reasured herself and Jacob, sitting up, but groaning in pain. "Would you mind changing my wraps? They're a bit bloody and--" Jacob quietly got up and grabbed some cobwebs, and changed the wraps around Storm's stomach.

Aoife waved, and once the dragon was out of sight, Aoife sprinted for camp like there was no tomarrow. Bursting into the room, Aoife looked wildly, and when her eyes finally set on Storm, her green eyes welled up with tears.

"Oh Aoife." Storm sighed, beckoning her sister over. "I'm alive. I don't plan on leaving, so don't worry." AOife just clung to her sister and cried.

"Shh... Aoife, it's going to be okay. I promise." Storm whispered. Aoife stood, tears streaming down her cheeks and nodded.

"I love you sis." Aoife hiccuped.

"Go on; you have better things to do than stare at me." Storm chuckled, "I'm feeling better already. I just need time to heal. Jacob will change my wraps from time to time, and I'll get better."

Aoife nodded, and left the room, composing herself before she went to find the other girl again.

Aoife shifted, and her firey feathers glowed in the sun. "Let's go." She cawed. "Do you have anything of his? We might be able to catch his scent."

Aoife leaned towards it, and sniffed deeply, catching a scent. She nodded slowly, and sniffed the air.

"I think... That way." She cawed, and leaped into the air, flying west.

Aoife saw a boy up ahead, and sniffed the air. He smelled just right.

"That him?" She cawed over her shoulder, gesturing to the boy.

I see Red Sky in his wolf form. My eyes fill with tears, and I tackle him from the sky. "Red Sky!!!" I scream, and morph into a human, looking at him. He morphs too, and kisses me slightly. "Thank you~!" I yell to Aoife.

Aoife smiles, and caws in return, before circling back and heading to camp to check in with Storm. Was her little sister okay? Would she be okay?

Aoife got to camp, but decided to leave Storm and Jacob alone for a while. To... talk. Aoife sat on a stump and let her mind wander.

Jacob cradled Storm as she fell asleep, and kissed her forehead before lying her down on the cot. Jacob then layed on the ground, and fell asleep.

Storm woke and quietly left the room and sat in the middle of camp, with no serious pain to bother her. 'Huh.' She thought, and thanked her ancestors. She layed on her back and watched the stars. They twinkled brightly tonight.
