So I had someone just do one of those 'tbh' things for me, a really sweet girl, and I'm going to tell you right now, it's not what this girl said that got to me. For someone I hardly knew, she was there for me to talk to, she helped me through a lot of my personal battles and when people crapped on me.

But gee, I didn't know every crapped on me that much behind my back. Just goes to show you, people really are desperate to put the attention off themselves, huh?


Oh well, high school is over, none of those people matter anymore. But old demons, they sure are no fun.

Anyway, on another note, I made my uni's literary journal selection committee! YAY

True, there are always people who will try to get you.=/ Trust me, I've been bullied for all my years in school.

Lucky for you, you're done with high school. I gotta endure it for another three years. And I desperately wish people will stop hating me for who I am and just accept me.

Well 3yrs will go by so fast high school doesn't seem to last very long and when you're at your last year of it, It might've seemed all too short, but the memories either they stick with you, or they don't. Lifer after high school is what truly matters and what you want to do with it.

Yes. That's true. I've been telling myself that for a while now. Along with inspirational quotes. However, sometimes, there are just days where you cross your breaking point. Days where you feel like you can't take it anymore. I hate those days.☹️

Wow you know I had lots of friends in my high school years, but as the years went by it dwindled. Some moved away, some dropped out, and my last year I was only left with one good buddy of mines. And that was it everyone was basically gone, and I never thought much of them after I grad so that's so long ago already LOL I"m so old on here, what am I doing? LOL

Y'know, I know what you mean. That happened to me just this year.☹️

I used to have so many friends that when we'd eat lunch, we wouldn't fit on one table. However, I soon started to feel like I was losing my friendship with them. Then, just a week before my birthday, they all ignored me and acted like I didn't exist. It stunk.

Now, I only eat with one of my closest friends left.

I've been bullied for all sorts of weird crap in my lifetime.

From the way I look, to the way I act, to what I like, to my nervous habits, TO THE FREAKING WAY I WALK (I was never aware I walked in a weird way until some kid at a summer camp called me "Hamster" ...and it caught on -_____-)

The truth seems to be, though, that it doesn't matter who you are, people will find something to pick on if they really want to. If you're not fat, you're too skinny. If you're not skinny, you're too fat. If you're not tall, you're too short, and so on...

I heard the "popular" girls ragging on each other behind one another's backs quite often. Insecurity really does seem to have a lot to do with it too.

@metaphor True. Even if you're absolutely perfect, someone will find some reason to pick at you. But, it really doesn't matter. The person picking at you has flaws as well. Just ignore it, and enjoy your life.

Yes, that is so true. I've been bullied for all sorts of stupid superficial things too. The world is like that, and unfortunately, it will always be like that. Insecurity does take over almost all the time.

Yeah, the dark side of being an exchange student is that you HAVE to be someone you aren't in order to make it. If you don't, you not only get bullied, but you also don't get accepted by the culture and that can lead to even worse problems. So it's a tough life. XD But I'm glad I'm here and adjusting well. ^-^
