Choosing Wanted Creatures

I was just thinking... People keep complaining about others offering creatures they don't want on their trades. Maybe if we could choose the creatures that are offered on our lots, then there would be a whole lot less of that complaining. It would be easier for people to get what they want, without griping. Or maybe this isn't such a good idea, I don't know. Just please, don't be screaming at me that "This is a HORRIBLE idea!" Okay? XD

@whitefire Reminds me of the Global Trade Station in Pokemon. I could see it working for simple 1v1 trades. As in, one creature for another creature.
I'm not sure how advanced the filter function would be.

Maybe an Auto-Accept function so that if the wanted creature was offered, the creatures would be automatically transferred, and then a haggling system to that the creature that is offered must be within 50 rarity points of the creature offered on. But the haggling function would have to be turned on. This way if somebody wants a particular creature and ONLY that creature for their lot, they don't have to deal with, "Oh, would you accept this instead?" If their lot isn't worth whatever creature they want, then it would be too bad for them if nobody offers. It might be too complicated, I don't know. But this way there would be no "That's too common" or "Oh, I couldn't accept that, it's too rare!" complaints.

@whitefire My dead suggestion is here: http://eggcave.com/forums/topic/11938/0#307660 😋

I don't agree with your "auto-accept" function... if there's a haggling system afterwards, then why would you do an auto-accept in the first place? ._. Also, the weighted rarity points don't always agree with the user's demands 😋 For example, a Caiman is pretty common, yet it has a lower Weighted Rarity than a Mo (79, compared to the Mo's 105).

@Karamel
You would want to auto-accept so that the offer's not sitting there forever making the offerer wait for you to accept if you're not on for a week. I like to disappear a bit, and if a creature I wanted was offered on one of my lots while I was gone, I would not like to come back to see that it was offered then removed due to my inactiveness. And yeah, I get the rarity thing, but it wouldn't auto-accept offers placed in the haggling part. That would be like normal trading, where you haggle creatures. And you could add and delete creatures from your offer as you please, rather than deleting and replacing...

And I'll check out your topic!

@whitefire Maybe there could be an option to CHOOSE whether to auto-accept? 😃 I understand what you mean about the auto-accepting now though :] And I agree with the last part (adding and deleting creatures) 😸

@Karamel Yeah, that would be cool too! And thanks. I think that would make "haggling" more like haggling, to the extent that you get to choose the price more.

@whitefire Maybe when you create the lot, there's the option which says something along the lines of "Auto-accept offers that fit your criteria?" (couldn't think of anything better xD). I agree so much with you xD
