About Wintear Eggs
Wintear eggs are freezing cold yet soft to the touch. It is said that the eye at the center of the snowflake can see right into your soul. When the eye looks at you the room starts to feel cold but only you can feel it. Other people that the eye isn't looking at don't feel a thing. When the egg is close to hatching, the eye will close, the entire thing will freeze solid, then melt away to reveal your newly hatched Wintear.

More about the Wintear
When a Wintear hatches its eyes are closed. When they are close to evolving to their final stage, they shed a single tear which lands on their staff and freezes, never to melt. As an adult they have eyes like a hawk and a nose that can sniff better then any dog. If they lose their staff they grow very sick and blind until it is returned. This is because the tear that it shed has a piece of its life energy and soul in it. Without it they are helpless.
