What are some of the weirdest words that you've heard and probably will never you on a daily basis? I get lots of 'em from my word study from school

Ex:
sluicy - water falling in large amounts
circumambulate - to walk around

So, what are some weird words YOU'VE heard of? B)

I know, I'm not dumb. But my teachers always say "it's one of the few words without a vowel". I take what they say and repeat, I really trust them x3

@whispers
😋
Actually, did you know that both Y and W are neither vowels or consonants, they're somewhere in between 😋 It's something called a 'glide'. Like, even when you're using y as a consonant - take 'you're' for example 😋 - if you actually say the word slowly:

you're
yoooorrrrr
eeeeoooooorrrrrrr

😋

And take 'want'. Said slowly, it sounds like oooooaaaaannnnt.

So y and w are somewhere in between 😋

So...I guess 'rhythm' doesn't actually have a vowel. It has a glide 😋

@whispers

Antidisestablishmentarianism. XD

Funny story behind this. I was helping teach English at my Thai school and the teacher was having the students write as many words that start with A as they could think of. When they started writing words like "apple" or "all", he told them to use BIG words like antidisestablishmentarianism. LOL

Makes life a whole lot easier.

Also, I have a word. It is a phobia xD

Here it is: Triskaidekaphobia.

It is the fear of the number 13.
