@pwuffy this is true! So bottom line...people make predictions all the time and they are almost never right 😃

Deleted • 25 July 2011 at 11:59 AM

@jazzyleia It would be weird if all these predictions were true XD

In 2000, the world was supposed to end, so my uncle played a prank on my family XD Luckily, I was too young to remember, but during the New Years Eve party he made the lights go out at midnight. My mom said she was freaking out. LOL. Anyways, don't worry about people saying the world is going to end. What I think: We have lived for thousands and thousands of years, why would the world end today?

And this whole thing is based off the Mayan Calendar. What if they just ran out of rock...? XD

@nogardragon

It's not going to end.
Doctors can't even predicted the exact date someone with an incurable illness with die, so how the heck can anyone give the exact date that everything will just cease to exist? It's just not possible.
Also, even if we were going to go by Biblical "evidence"...it even SAYS in the book of 1 Peter: "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief."

Nobody knows and nobody should. Mass hysteria for nothing. Move along now!

Sad thing is some people have planned for 2012 and have only so much money and food to last until then, like they gave up their jobs and are just using their old money up and waiting for the world to end.

Their New Years resolution is to be less gullible xD

Also the end of the world could mean something entirely different then death 😊 I'm a lot older than most here and have lived through at least a dozen End of the World prophecies, just saying 😊

About the Mayan Calander..... ehat if the person who wrote it just said, "That's it!! I'm too tired and too bored. The people in the future are probley so stupid, they will die sooner than that!!"

It's because too many people watched 2012. xD I mean really, they wouldn't push the year closer because it would be wrong. XD And pushing the year farther would mean dissatisfaction to the anxiety. XD
