"Can't exactly deny that with the way I've been acting. Ace seems to have rubbed off of me. And because I know you guys are gonna ask sooner or later, the reason I didn't ask for that ability is because unlike you all, I'm quite content being a cat. Especially since I don't have to worry about my crazy cousins anymore." The kitten shrugged. "Anyways, nice meeting you Maple and May. Are either of you injured or anything?"

"WHAT!!!?" said May. "You are happy to be a cat!?" the idea that anyone could enjoy being a cat blew her mind. " Why on earth would you be happy Seria? Oh and yes and we are both fine."

"Trust me..."She muttered darkly. "If you'd ever have to live with cousins like mine every day of your life, then you'd be glad to finally be free from them too. Besides, cats have enhanced senses, a better climbing ability, and so much more!" the kitten meowed cheerfully. "Why do you dislike being a cat so much anyways? And DON'T say because you can't be with your family. That part would be obvious."

"Erk...sorry guys. I probably should chill out. Sorry Seira, I tend to snap a lot" said May. " I hate being a cat because you have to get up and catch your food! I hate having to kill and eat animals for food. You know I was a vegetarian before Cather did this!

"Sa'll right..." She yawned. "If you don't mind, I think I'll jus take a nap o'er here..." The kitten meowed tiredly as she walked to a small pile of leaves nearby and curled her tail around herself. However, before she let herself sleep, the kit looked at May with a single open eye. "By he way May..."She yawned again. "Name's Seira, not Seria...zzz..." after making her name clear to the cats, the small kit had fallen asleep.

Aoife watched the other cats quietly as the ran off to hunt. Maybe she should nap too... Nah. Aoife couldn't be caught off-guard. What if Cather knew she had abandoned the clan, and was after her? She couldn't take the risks of being caught. So Aoife sat down, and watched the kitten with interest, wondering how she had turned this curse into a gift.

May follows Sparkle, who had spotted a rather juicy looking squirrel. She dropped into a hunters crouch along with Sparkle,who was only now two tail-lengths away her next meal. May decided that she was way too hungry to split a squirrel with Spakle. She turned around too look for her own prey.

As the kitten slept peacefully in the shade atop the pile of leaves, a quiet caw of a raven echoed in the woods. Hopping out of the shadows of the roots with it's pitch black wings tucked behind its back, the elegant bird stared at Aoife with curiosity and back at the kitten again. Seemingly satisfied, the strange bird nodded to itself and flew off once more...Only to crash into a tree. After falling pathetically onto the forest floor, he glared at Aoife. "You didn't see anything." The strange bird had stated quickly, before flying off again towards the treetops.

Soon she had spotted what she had been looking for. A plump robin that was pecking at some damp soil in search of a meal. She dropped into a crouch and slowly headed twards it. The bird was so busy looking for food that it didn't see her coming. She leaped forwards and killed it swiftly with a bite to the neck. May sat down at once and began to stuff herself. It still felt odd eating meat. Before she became a cat she was a vegitarian. She looked down at the poor bird she had killed and felt guilt well up inside her. "This bird did nothing to harm me... However there is no other way for me to survive..." She looked down at the bird again. "Dumb Cather, this is all his fault" May heard russeling in the bushes behind her and turned around to see....

Aoife snickered softly at the bird, and after making sure Seira was safely hidden, Aoife followed it. It would be a good meal, anyways. Careful not to step on any branches, Aoife realised that it was probably gone. 'Oh well, I'll find some other prey... I am hungry, after all...' Aoife thought, and smelled the fresh trail of a rabbit. 'Mmmmm... Rabbit.' Aoife thought, and quickly admonished herself, 'Rabbits are adorable, you wierdo!' but Aoife knew it was the cat in her. "Stupid Cather.... I refuse to kill innocent bunnies." she muttered under her breath, and tried something else.

'Hmmm, a mouse? I'll take two." Aoife tried not to snicker as she hunted a pair of mice. Leaping ontop of both mice, Aoife quickly discovered that the fear killed them. 'Aww...' she thought sadly, but still quickly ate them. 'A coupke moons ago, I would've been disgusted at the thought of eating rodents....'

With a mental shrug, Aoife walked through a brush to find May attempting to eat a bird.

"Ya' know, you don't have to feel so guilty eating other animals." The voice of the raven from before suddenly called out from above. "It's all a part of the circle of life, eat or be eaten, stuff like that. It's through this that its life and death would be a blessing to both itself and those around it. Think of it this way, had you not eaten those animals, they would've faced a far crueler death than the one it received. Starvation, Sickness, Poisoning...Compared to those, having a quick death in order to satisfy another's hunger is like a gift from the heavens. We animals understand that perfectly, and that allows us to live in harmony." Landing in front of the two cats, the bird tilted its head in question. "Question is, why won't you humans do the same?" Before either of them could reply though, the raven had sent a glare Aoife's way and disappeared into the shadows of the woods.

"Wait!" Aoife called, but it was too late. The raven was... surprisigly intelligent. It was quite unerving when you thought about it.

Tusami sat there looking for some prey. She spotted a startling and crouched. It pecked at hte ground for worms brought up by hte strom. I leap and catch it.

May thought about what the raven had said. It was true that it was the natural order of things to eat other animals. She felt reassured and finished her robin without a hint of regret. " I wonder who that raven was" she said to herself.

May curled up and begain to fall asleep on the grass. She was so glad that now she had met others like her. Others who wanted to go home and be with family. Others that wanted to be human again. Others that hated Cather....She gave a long yawn and fell asleep.

As the stars began to glimmer in the darkening sky, a quiet zephyr blew, and the place where a once sleeping kitten lay was occupied no more. Just a little beyond the area though, if one were to look carefully, you would find tiny paw prints leading up to a Sugar Hackberry tree. "Aw..." A small whine had echoed from within the branches along with the soft sounds of chewing as well. "They actually left me behind!" The once sleeping kitten complained as she continued to munch upon the berries that grew, making sure to spit out the seeds every now and then. "Then again, it probably wasn't a good idea to just 'suddenly' want to take a nap in the middle of the day...Even so, it's not MY fault that I'm slightly nocturnal now!" Seira had continued to argue with herself until she had enough and got up from her spot. "Well, at least I can follow their...scent..." The young kit trailed off as she scanned the ground quickly, before jumping off the branch and onto a rather plump squirrel, whom she had knocked unconscious. To the best of her ability, the kitten managed to drag along the poor squirrel and went off to find the cats.

Daphne listened to the other cats. No one has heard her or scented her. Could they be one of those human-turned-cat like her? Daphne's mind fizzed with excitement. She decided to stop spying on them for today. Daphne turned away from the voices and walked into the shadows. She hope she wasn't doing any harm to spy on them.

Sheri followed the strange cat before the cat vanished.
