I can't think of a reason why it's a bad idea.

I would personally love a ping for when my creatures are below 50 happiness, or another way to gain EC.

I would support this is if it something people really want 😊

And also when they fall out of Tim's Food Shoppe.

Yes, it would say "Warning, Name has below 50 happiness"
...but I think under ten would be more appropriate, you know, thats the risk of death.

And for Tim's it would say

"Egg is no longer booked with Tim's Food Shoppe" and there would be a link to his shop.
