Log In Bug/Glitch?

Whenever I log in, it takes me to the blog and it shows that I haven't logged in (although I did). So then when I click any other link, then it shows I'm logged in and it will show my notifications. Sometimes it will show my notifications on the blog while it says I'm not logged in. I have a screenshot of it.

I don't think it's that. It's been happening since before September. It's just now getting really annoying.

@whispers It just started happening to me, like recently. Like a few days before Thanksgiving. @Ian said Egg Cave might need a new server.

This could be because of heavier server loads, but those have been fixed over the past couple of days. I've performed some maintenances and have optimized the back-end database.

This, to me, actually looks like a page caching issue. It would appear that your Notifications are being cached and displaying, even though you're logged out. Notifications = cached. Rest of the page = not cached. There's a mismatch.

To fix this, clear your browser's cache and all cookies. If this happens again, clear your browser's cache.
