You are free to have a human character, as well as control your own dragon. However, if you want to just be a dragon or human, it's up to you to find a partner.

Personality: Passive aggressive, curious, low patience level, highly protective, cautious towards new people she meets, may come off as hostile for a long time before she warms up to you. Not very trusting.
History? Grew up on the West coast of Canada, but moved the flashy streets of New York after graduating high school. While most graduates headed to the big city to chase after dreams of being fashion designers or movie stars, Celes' dream, was to become an attorney. She was quick to the trigger, and hated to lose an argument, therefore making her an ideal candidate for an intern position with a modest law firm in Brooklyn.

Personality: Prefers Soltitude. Doesn't talk much, but snarls quite a bit. A bit of a grump when you meet him, but he treats friends like gold. Though those come few and far between. Not really interested in the idea of a Rider, but he makes do with it for now. If pressured, he would admits he cares about the tiny human little bitokay maybe more then a little bit.
History: Before Riders returned, he only came out at night, choosing to stay in the far North, where night lasted longer and the stars shone their brightest. Not a lot is none about him, hence his obvious secrecy. He chases the sun as it sets at night, and hides from sight when it rises in the morn, but all eve & night his serpentine body dances in the sky, partnered with the moon and stars.

Personality: Caiden is an open-minded person. He will always try to hear someone out even if he doesn't believe them. He's upfront on honest on most things. He's been known to be quite stubborn if he feels the need to. If you prove to be a worthy friend, he can prove to be a loyal ally. He's been known to be unpredictable and a master at masking his facial expressions.
History: He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California with his mother and little sister. He's a senior in high school who makes decent grades. He isn't quite sure what he plans on pursuing for a career just yet. But plans on making decent money and taking care of his family.

Personality: Even though Aura is still only a young adult, she has proven to be very wise. She is a very thoughtful and strategic dragon. She is determined to stay devoted to her rider, even though she doubts his outlook on things at times. She has also been known to become resentful and hold grudges over the tiniest things before.
History: Not much of her history is known other than she has been traveling most of her life. She's almost constantly on the move just like the wind itself. She can't stand to be in one place for very long or she will get edgy and nervous.

Name: Alekzander Michigan Waltz "Alek"
Age: 18
Rider or no: Still unable to find his soul dragon, therefore is brought to the conclusion that he isn't a rider.

Location: Honduras (the city of crimes)
Weapon of choice:
Appearance: Of average height (5'9), often blending in with the crowd, as he is nothing special to look at (body built-wise that is...). A lean, but muscle-less figure, invisibly strong because he seems to lack any physical strenght whatsoever. Disheveled obisidian hair, cut shortly to reach no lower than his ears and a cover a bit of his forehead as well. Probably his most striking feature is the neon green hue of his eyes. Fair skin, accentuating his otherwise bright features. Contrastingly to everything, he wears mainly white clothes, as to express his open personality and love for life.
Personality: Pale skin, dark hair - the combination suggests a gloomy attitude. In short, he's often expected to be outwardly emo. Yet he's out-going and laid back, seemingly always happy. Over-protective of friends, to the point of self-destruction. Easy to manipulate, by using the foolish kindness he has against him. A calm boy in general, rarely coming across as quarrelsome. Anger, however, is a state he doesn't handle well. Only when he reaches his ultimate boiling point does he let all the steam out - he shouts, trashes, attacks. This anger is poured upon only those who deserve it. When faced with new people and/or enemies, he tends to examine their behaviour, calculating every single move and keeping a wide distance at first. Eventually, however, he gets permanently attached to the person he finds non-dangerous.
History: Albeit living in a dangerous city, Alek lived a perfectly normal life - at least normal by his own standarts. Raised in a rather strange habitat... His parents were outwardly strange - his mother was a psychiatrist and his father - a medic, so this explains his ability to sympathize with people, analize their emotions and also his (brief) knowledge in medicine.

Main Weapon? Dagger
Personality: Danieka is full of energy and love. She's very playful and hates to see harsh things and struggles with the concept of evil. She's generally calm but when her temper gets flared up, it's not a sight one likes to see.
History? Danieka grew up with her mother and older brother, Josh. She visits her father every second weekend, and she's just starting her first year of College where she is pursuing a degree in writing.

DRAGONS:

Name: Adriel
Age: Young Adult Dragon
Male.
Rider: Danieka
Element? Electricity.

Personality? He has a bit of a temper, and takes things a bit too seriously. He's rough, but good natured inside. His obvious frustration and anger is due to the sight of too much suffering.
History? Before the attack of the Wanderers, he had a mate by the name of Aesma. She's since been possessed by a wanderer, and when given the chance to take her out, he was unable to do so. He longs to take back the land that is rightfully theirs, and despite being a designated dragon for a rider, he's a little reluctant to work with humans.


Relationship between Dragon/Rider: Tense at first. Adriel doesn't appreciate Danieka's innocent out look on things and struggles to trust her. Their constant bickering will likely get in the way of what's most important. It's going to take a lot of work for them to come together and get their element.

Gender: Female

Element? Light
Appearance? She's a long-bodied dragon, with narrow shoulders and a sweeping tail. Her legs are built shortly and thickly like a mountain lion's, and end in thick talon-paws with four short toes and a "thumb". Her retractable claws are long and knife-sharp, and the undersides of her paws are padded slightly. Due to all this, she is as good at running and jumping as she is at flying. She has a short, rounded triangular snout and large light brown eyes. Her horns aren't too showy; they're much like a gazelle's, ringed and slightly curved. She has broad, delicate wings, patterned like a white peacock butterfly. Her scales are shimmery yellow-brown.
Personality? Roura lives her life in a series of quick bursts. She is capable of loving or hating a single thing with deep, burning passion; however, that fire is rarely sustained for long. She dislikes having to sit still, and her attention span is similarly short. She loves learning, up until the subject loses her interest--at that point, she's antsy to move on. She's affectionate and hands-on, perhaps too touchy for some, but overall she's a well-meaning soul.
History? Always on the move, Roura was out in the fields when the Wanderers attacked her home. In a mixed fit of curiosity and revenge, she committed herself to working with the humans.

I'm sorry it didn't happen when I planned, my second semester was more overwhelming than i'd anticipated. But now that things are settling down, I want to start this.

Personality (This is not optional.) Cold and calculating. She has a major disliking of boys in general, but she is fair. She's a major fan of strategy, but if strategy means suddenly lunging, or acting bloodthirsty, meh. It works. Her face is nearly always blank, hiding all her thoughts, but her eyes sometimes betray her intentions, if she wishes. Quite often she is mistaken as the quiet one, but she'll argue to make a point that she thinks is correct. Contrary to her element, she does not appreciate the cold that much. She has a soft spot for animals, but if you're a monster...watch out. She's nice to people she likes, though.
History? (No over-dramatic, sad histories)
Born normal, raised normal. Except for the fact that she was fascinated with strategy, and watching people argue verbally. Normal grades, all A's, except for math. Even though she's 14, she has plan for a major in law or writing novels. Ever since she was young, her family has taken her to vacation often, such as their annual ski trip to the Sierra Nevadas. Yeah. Normal.

History?
All she's known was being hunted by humans. Orphaned by her parents, she had to fend for herself. So when she met Alexis, she was not friendly.

There's just a few of us, but that might make for an easier start. I'm also expecting a couple more character forms soon.

Either way, we're going to start.

So that we can go at our own pace and not have to rely on each other to do an intro, I was thinking we should have our characters 'wake up' thinking it's a dream, and then accidentally end up in the dragonw orld, (via mirror) and explore at their own pace, meet their dragon, ect. This is opposed to us all being together right away. Which could make it difficult to get started, with different schedules and such.

And when a couple of us are online at a time, our characters can start to meet. ^^

So basically, once you're ready, you can start posting your intros in the thread.
