Cove customizing?

Ever since I began Egg Cave, wanted the option to display creatures on my profile page in the order that I want them, as opposed to just alphabetically.

(For example) if people wanted to order their creatures so that their most favorite ones are displayed at the top, they could drag them up to the top of the large cove list in some sort of cove edit mode.

(another example) If they want eggs at the lop of the list, and fully evolved creatures at the bottom, they could do that too.

(AS A RESULT) when people click on your cove, they could then feed the creatures in the order that they were put in. (and the cove may look a little more personalized, which is always a plus!)


I know we have cove tabs with different categories, but when I click on a creature in say- a "please feed" category, It just takes me back to the main alphabetically organized sequence, so I can't choose to feed the ones they want fed unless I keep clicking the 'back' button every time, and then individually click on each creature in the "please feed" category, which is rather undesirable time-wise.

Maaaybe you can do this already and I am just naive about it. I am fairly new to eggcave. Please tell me if you can do this!
and please notify me if something sounds confusing.

it's a good idea but here's a hint: when you are feeding from feed lists, right click or control click and open each egg in a different tab! 😊

but it would be nice to pick the order of eggs in your cove 😊

@box I've been thinking about this for a while and never got to making the thread. I would want this to order my pets from the ones that need feeding most to least so that feeding lists would not be necisary. Then you could just say "feed my first 15" instead of having a feed list. Would make it much easier.

Mhmm, I've had the same feed list problem, so I like this idea. But maybe, the edit button could be next to the "cove" tab. Before the lists. And there are the creatures, not the names only.

yes indeed the option to organize them differently than just names, and still being able to have lists would be wonderful what I would like as well.

there could be the main cove- any organized way you want it, and then other lists that you want. AND if you click on a list it would be cool if you also view them in the order that they where displayed on that list.

you can display your super cool critters up top of cove, or whatever you want, and then you can still have a list stating: please feed. if you click on that feed list you can feed them in that order.
