Yup, it was a joke. And tommorow i wake up with a smile on my face.😊 Does you believe in the story that today the end of the world is?
Deleted • 21 December 2012 at 7:04 AM
@chiarap 😊 well, if it really was true, then I'm looking forward to dying. If it isn't and people still claim it is real, i'll open up the nasa's website for proving it false.
chiarap • 21 December 2012 at 7:12 AM
@belilalas_25 the nasa says too. The have make a video on the site why it is not the end of the world.😊
metaphor • 21 December 2012 at 7:59 AM
Reposting what I posted on the site update: If a doctor can't even predict exactly how long a critically ill patient has to live, what makes anyone think they can predict the exact date, year, AND time the world will end? It's silly, and it's an insult to whatever "science" they use to attempt to explain it.

OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOI heard from a friend, who heard it from their friend, who heard it from their cousin, who heard it from their friend, who heard from their dad, who read it in an article written by this guy who, like, interviewed an archeologist, and it said like that the Mayanns said, that the world was gonna end on December 21 2012 thats todaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy OMGGGGGGG D8 D8 D8 D8 D8 D8 D8 D8 D8 D8 D8 D8 D8 D8 D8...You know, the Mayas DID NOT say the world was going to end on December 21, 2012. See, their calendar goes forward. Like we're in the year '2012', which is 2012 years since Jesus was born, the Mayas might be in the year 10 - ten years until the calendar resets - and the next year would be the year 9.So. Today is the day the calendar resets. It is the end of an era according to the Mayas. And some dumb person mistranslated "end of the era" as "end of the world". Probably misguided by the fact that there won't be another Mayan calendar ever because they're not around anymore.😋
yellowfang • 21 December 2012 at 9:27 AM
The Mayans just got lazy and said "Screw this, Ive made enought dumb calanders; all the way to when my reat-great-great-grandkids will be alive. Im done!" xD
purrclan • 21 December 2012 at 9:36 AM
@yellowfangNuh-uh! 😋

Maybe the world really did end and this is heaven....................heaven stinks :/
cotton • 21 December 2012 at 10:12 AM
Maybe the Mayans just wanted to freak out their younger generations."LOLOLOLOLOL LOOK AT JIMMY HE'S LIKE BUILDING A BOMB SHELTER IN HIS BACKYARD HAHAHAHAHA HOW GULLIBLE IS HE?"
seaangel • 21 December 2012 at 10:17 AM
@purrclan Well you are right there, the mayans didn't say that the world was going to end here, it's just an end of an era. BUT, there are still a few mayans around, considering they interviewed a mayan women who said that the people who do believe the end of the world is today are complete idiots.

chiarap • 21 December 2012 at 11:21 AM
@muzb So is the world save or not?
univea • 21 December 2012 at 11:21 AM
There have bee like 3 ends of the world this month I've heard of.One was the 1st, this is another, and the last is the 31st. You can't spread a rumor about 3 different days 😋I'm actually inviting my friends over for a 'seriously the world isn't ending' party.
Orderedchaos • 21 December 2012 at 11:23 AM
The Mayan calendar had nothing to do with the end of the world. All the hype was created by people taking it way out of context.http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2012/14dec_yesterday/
rileytibbles_side • 21 December 2012 at 11:24 AM
@chiarap1st of all, the Mayan's did not explicitly state the world was going to end. They just ended the calendar for unknown reasons, and people jumped to conclusions. Also, the Mayan calendar was created before Caesar created leap year in 515 B.C. so, the world should have ended like 9 months ago. This whole thing was a big bowl of stupid.
chiarap • 21 December 2012 at 11:26 AM
@rileytibbles_side Really?I was scarred about it.😱
rileytibbles_side • 21 December 2012 at 11:32 AM
@chiarapNah, I knew it was fake when I researched it last year. its just like Y2K all over again. All the people who REALLY freaked out and like spent all their money and hid in a bomb shelter are gonna fell pretty stupid... Especially when they lose their house... This will probably happen again. It will never be true unless there is cold hard scientific fact backing it up. For instance, when the sun dies out/explodes into a super nova. Then the world would end. But, that won't happen for another 5 billion years, so we're all good
chiarap • 21 December 2012 at 11:33 AM
@rileytibbles_side Thanks for the information.😊
invisiblefly • 21 December 2012 at 11:55 AM
@chiarapDid you watch the video?Scientists CLEARLY say that there is no end of the world. They made the video to get people to shut up that the world was not going to end.We're still standing here, right? XD
chiarap • 21 December 2012 at 11:56 AM
@muzb Yes, i watch him but i don't understand him.XD

chiarap • 21 December 2012 at 12:00 PM
@muzb And i don't understand english, i only can write it.XD
purrclan • 21 December 2012 at 12:03 PM
@rileytibbles_side @chiarapActually the *Mayas didn't end it "for unknown reasons". The Mayas' calendar goes forward, not backward. We're in the year 2012 (2012 years after Jesus was said to be born), and next year it will be 2013. For the Mayas it might be, say, the year 1998 (1998 years until the calendar resets), and next year it would be 1997. It's like counting down until the calendar resets/the current era ends (and the next one begins - like how 2000 ended the 1-thousand years and began the 2-thousand years).Replace 'era' in the previous sentence with 'world', and disregard the parentheses, and you see how a misunderstanding could make someone think the world was going to end 😋And actually, I heard that the Mayas *did* count leap years. Although I'm not sure about that. 😋
invisiblefly • 21 December 2012 at 12:04 PM
@chiarap oh sorry I did not know. Where are you from?Also, China is one day ahead of us. Should they have experienced the end of the world before us? XD
chiarap • 21 December 2012 at 12:05 PM
@purrclan So the world is safe?@muzb I come from the Netherlands,you know from the Tulips,the Cheese,the Wooden shoes.XD@metaphor @leafpoolz @april__@icymuffinYeah! It was the time for the end of the world but we live.😃
