The stress and panic in his mind before had vanished to a more calm state, sleepiness starting to take over. That park bench looked really great right about now. He was going to take a seat on it, but Fira protested. 'No! I am NOT sleeping on that!' 'Well, then sleep somewhere else.' He grumbled, plopping down on the bench.She sighed internally, giving up the fight. She couldn't risk him getting hurt and risking her life as well. 'Alright, I'll allow it this time.' She said, going quiet once more.

Seeing that Kai had taken the park bench, Shira walked over to a grassy spot to lay down. She curled up on the soft terrain, closing her tired eyes.Sighing, Frost sprawled out beside her, gazing at the starry sky.

@PurrClan Sorry, it could just be that there are a lot of people who are "nocturnal" by our standards. Part of it's my fault, because I sneak on at night since I'm usually not allowed on during the day. You can quit if you want to, but the post count has really dwindled, so why don't you stay for a while?

XD It'll probably slow when we all go back to school, am I right? Hehe.--Kai closed his eyes, falling asleep on the bench and oddly didn't dream about anything that night. His mind was a black canvas, until the time he opened his eyes the next morning.The sun came up and warmed the cool air in practically no time. 'Get up...' Fira said softly, her voice echoing inside him.He didn't move or awake from his slumber.'Get up!' It was louder this time.He snapped awake from the internal alarm clock and sat up on the bench, vision blurry. He blinked a few times to clear it and looked around. It must've been at least 9. He rubbed the back of his neck to relieve the soreness in it and then looked over at Shira, who still seemed to be asleep.

Shira's closed eyes were filled with a red light from the bright rising sun, forcing her out of her deep slumber. She looked beside her to see Frost still lying in a comfortable-looking position, with her pale face pressed into the dirt and one leg bent backwards to that her foot touched her ice-blue hair. Shira giggled quietly as she watched her demon partner try to pull the ground closer as one would a pillow, but only succeed in getting mud in her hair."Wake up, dirtface!" she laughed, shoving Frost lightly in the side."Wha---?" Frost said in a muffled voice, getting a mouthful of dirt. "Aww, gross!" she yelled, spitting out the moist earth and ruffling her hair.Shira no longer tried to contain her laughter and let it go as she watched Frost comically clawing at her frosty follicles and swiping her face and tongue.@Kurochi-Akuma I should probably get back to my pliers and chains... But I don't want to. 😋

@whitefire - lol...You should at least get it over with~ O:--Kai laughed as well, even though he tried to hold it in for the sake of Frost's feelings. What could he say? She was getting dirty and mud all over herself if her attempt to clean herself off and frankly it was a good laugh. 'Feelings, huh? Do demons even have them?' He thought, awaiting Fira's internal answering service, but it never came. He let it go."Good morning." He said finally, getting rid of the last of his laughs.

It dawned on him finally that question came from his mind and he wondered how in the world she could read his thoughts, without being inside merged with him. Demons were weird. 'Nuff said.He stuffed his hands in his jean pockets, feeling something leathery to the touch. He took it out of his pocket. His wallet. 'Nice, guess I'm not in such bad luck afterall.' He thought, grinning to himself."How about a bite to eat Shira? I'm starved~" He complained, walking up to them.

Food is food and if she was hungry like he was, she would probably eat anything as well. He walked inside a nearby pizza parlor, going up to order food. He decided to order a slice of surpreme pizza and a small coke, letting Shira order next.

She stood up, but ended up falling over as something pushed her to the ground. Confused and still half asleep, the girl looked around, but didn't see anyone. So, she stood again, and found a water fountain to drink from. But while she was taking a drink, someone shoved her face into the water. Gagging, Storm whipped her head around, but still didn't see anyone. 'What the...' She thought.
