After everyone had gone, they drove home. Yawning, Tsana looked out the window. The full moon was rising! She vanished from the house, appearing at Mount Olympus.

Hvarr looked up to see two kittens. Huh? This new god... Mors, must have gone overkill. She snorted. Stupid creature. This meeting was probably going to take a while, as always, especially since there was a new god. Well, no need to stand the whole time. She walked into the huge hall, and looked around. Back when the greeks existed, she'd kind of been Hephaestus and Ares for them. It was a bit crazy, knowing only half of her was on the huge paintings of the throne room, but that all of her was there. Then they got invaded by the Romans, who, sadly, didn't change it much for her. At all.
Luckily, the throne room wasn't like that at all, since the gods and goddesses happened to be different animals, not just huge humans. There was an old goddess of them that allowed them to do that for a happy century, Juanor? But then she decided it was stupid, became the goddess of meals, and changed her name.
Hvarr trotted over to the large meeting area, with different places around a huge pit that gave a magnificent view of a city below. It was a bit scary, at first, looking down, and she had no doubt Mors would panic at the sight of it. Ahh, how she'd relish that moment. It was perfectly safe, though. She could jump around over it as an elephant, and nothing would happen.
She folded her legs under her and looked back at the main hall, the entrance to the throne room.

As Hvarr appeared, Maylene realized that the meeting was tonight! "Mors will be here tonight," she said to Celosia. "We can probably ask when he comes." She found a comfortable spot and sat down.

Tsana padded up to Maylene and Celosias. "You would not BELIEVE what's happened over the past couple of days," she sighed. "It's settled down, but Mors and I were switching species and genders so fast - well, first I was a guy bird, then Mors was a girl caterpillar, then Mors was a FERN, then we both became kittens as you see now." She giggled. "And all that was just one day!"

Hvarr twitched he ears at Tsana's words. Oh really? Sh snorted again. Stupid creature, it was obvious he had gone trigger crazy. It was also obvious that since they were both kittens, the maturity level of the meeting was bound to fall. Great. She looked at Maylene and Celosias, who had said something about asking Mors. What, how the mortal world works? How to stupidly stumble into something you don't understand and don't deserve? How to get one of the greatest gifts of life, when all you did was stubbornly grab onto someone when they told you not to? Or however he managed to get into this?
She knew this wasn't going to be pretty, and she didn't want to make herself too unpopular, so she avoided starring daggers at Mors, which she really really wanted to do, and stared daggers down at the people below instead.
