I can't imagine this will be the first time suggested, but I would like to see a click exchange, perhaps la the Unicreatures model (http://exchange.unicreatures.com/welcome.php) . At the very least, a subforum dedicated to clicking, either by housing individual's pages wherein they can link to all of their creatures at once, a "nursery" wherein everyone posts once and their creatures are added to one large group (or just posted once and left in their original post), or a "click above". Given the nature of the creatures here, it takes a lot of effort and/or time, with very little room for leaving, to get one's creatures to the point where they will no longer die.

@femme_gaucheThere *IS* a click exchange. It's on Egg Cave's official fan site, Egg Cavern.http://www.eggcavern.net/
femme_gauche • 29 December 2012 at 1:39 PM
@purrclan Then it should be more obvious to find, since nowhere on this site have I seen any reference to it before now (and I have looked). Thank you. It would also be nice for the accounts to be linked.
purrclan • 29 December 2012 at 1:41 PM
@femme_gaucheThere isn't a reference to it because it's just common knowledge. You don't need to make a reference to the fact that the sky is blue đ

@purrclan For new users? It's obvious when you sign up to this site? It isn't in the FAQ or anything.

@purrclanI have to agree with femme. If you just join and are looking for it it isn't common knowledge like it is for you and me. When I first joined it was back when there was the old layout and we used the blog to communicate. Yes there was the FAQ but it wasn't as detailed as it was now.If I had just joined now, it wouldn't have been as hard to get around because there is a forum to ask questions now.But even with that its still not common knowledge unless someone tells you about eggcavern.Hopefully sometime there will be a reference made (or possibly a eggcave fansite page!)

I agree with femme too.It isn't that easy to find especially since eggcavern is a whole different site. Maybe egg cave could post a link on the coves or something. I just found the clickery recently.
icymuffin • 30 December 2012 at 1:18 PM
Well, I don't think there is one on the actual Egg Cave site since you're, sort of in a way, expected to feed another user's cove who will, or is sort of expected to, feed your cove back. That's my take on it. The click exchange is just to make the system faster and whatnot, but the fact that it isn't already on Egg Cave probably indicates something?
wallie987 • 30 December 2012 at 1:26 PM
Nope. You hear about the clickery all the time but there's no link.âšī¸

@femme_gauche Egg Cavern is run independently of Egg Cave, if I am not mistaken, so there is no obligation for the owners of Egg Cave to link to Egg Cavern.I think we can request @meteoroid or @orderedchaos (the mods who also are affiliated to Egg Cavern, I think) to suggest to @Ian (the owner)? There is also one more service, Yarolds at:http://swle.yarold.eu/main.phpFrom my experience, Egg Cavern is better for feeds while Yarolds is better for clicks. For views, spam the comments at Glitter Graphics at http://glitter-graphics.com
femme_gauche • 31 December 2012 at 12:41 PM
@mrsgiggles I am well familiar with Yarolds but the way the clicks operate does not work very well for me therefore I generally look for an exchange specific to pets. I realize that Egg Cavern is run separately but there is really no good place on Egg Cave for exchanging clicks which surprised me given how easily the pets can die and how long/how many clicks/views it takes for them to become fully grown, considering I don't plan on spamming any forums nor social network sites to get clicks.

I don't understand how Glitter Graphics works :/
yukihitsugaya • 31 December 2012 at 5:06 PM
@taunter Copy your creatures BB code from the easy code, and then paste that code into the comment boxes under pictures you click on glitter graphics. It works very well for views.

Oh well that helps...

@femme_gauche There is always eggcavern.net - it is not officially "partnered" with Egg Cave, so there is no reference to it. It's merely a fan site :] However, the exchange is similar to Yarolds - you must click other people's links/creatures to get credits, and then people will click yours. (Usually) one link clicked = 1 credit. When you have 0 credits, your link(s) will not show up in the exchange. You can always feed other people's coves. Some people feed back. Also, you can post a topic in the General Discussion section and do "feed for feeds". Post a topic saying you'll feed back people who feed your coves, and just wait for people to feed :] You can post links to various creatures and ask people to feed (in return for you feeding their coves), etc. đ¸
