how many goldurs are there in EggCave?

@neko-chan The Weighted Rarity is basically the number of creatures in existence 😉

There are probably around 5 (or less) at the moment, although I'm sure the number will go up since it's the start of the month. :]

The rarity isn't the number. There are more than 5. I've seen a lot more then five.

@karamel Yes, @bubblez is right. I've seen way more than 5 already. The weighted rarity doesn't tell you how many of each type of creature there is on EggCave...it tells you how rare they are compared to other creatures. So even though a macbot has a rarity of 2, for example, that doesn't mean that there are only 2 of them on EggCave. There could be 10 or even 20 of them on EggCave, but compared to how many other creatures exist, and how many users there are, that is VERY rare.


@neko-chan There will be more of them for a while. It's just the start of the month, so a lot of people are still going to buy them, and that will increase their numbers and decrease their rarity. However, once the month ends, they won't be available anymore, so the longer you hold on to it, the more rare it will become. As time goes on some creatures will die off, or people will quit or have their accounts deleted, etc.

@neko-chan Plus not everyone buys CSP creatures, so in general they tend to be more rare than other creatures.

@karamel I have no idea how many macbots there are. My point is just that there are more than 2. (search for the name "macbot" and you'll find two right there). Weighted rarity doesn't tell you how of each creature there is...it's just a tool to compare. So for an example...you can look in the archives and see that an abrillion (5) is more rare than an adarna (9). But that doesn't mean there are only 9 adarnas...there are a lot more than that.

Does that make sense? I'm trying to explain it the best that I can.
