@d_u_p_l_i_c__a A creature gains a view anytime a page is loaded with its image on it. So it can be the forums, your profile, the blog, or in a signature on another site.

All stats are based on unique IP address, one view/click/feed per IP address. So you can't refresh your profile page 100 times and give all your creatures 100 views.

Hope this helps.

@d_u_p_l_i_c__a Your featured creature will gain views whenever you post on the forums, blog, or other people's walls. All of the pets on your account will gain a view anytime someone goes to your profile page.

@d_u_p_l_i_c__a I suggest you check out the FAQ: http://eggcave.com/explore/faq

In particular, look at the Increasing Stats section.

Every time you click an egg, the URL is eggcave.com/click/CREATURE-ID-HERE. Then it automatically redirects to eggcave.com/egg/CREATURE-ID-HERE and gives your creature a click.

When you use eCode to link your creature, it automatically makes the hyperlink into a 'click' code (not the egg code). 😊

For example, if you go to a page with my avatar on it, you are giving Rudy171717 a view. If you click it, you are giving him a click. And he needs clicks!
