On the page for editing lists, the following phrase is found:

"...want to create a list of all of their Mo's or a.."

The apostrophe should NOT be there. Plurals do not have apostrophe, unless they're possessive. This has been bugging me for a while. Please fix this.

@extremeblueness

For some reason I thought that when you were naming letters and numbers as plurals, you put an '. So, instead of "5s," it would be "5's."

Wouldn't the same apply to certain things, such as the creature species names?

I mean, it's not like they use "cheetah's," but I guess it always seemed to be proper for me to put it "Mo's" instead of "Mos."

I don't know, I guess just two differences of opinion. XD

@pebblestar-nightclan As a general rule, '5' is only mathematical, as any whole numbers smaller than ten should be spelled out. The plural of five, however, is fives. And even when you get to the higher numbers, such as the 1990s, you still don't use apostrophes.

@extremeblueness

That's true. So, in this case, neither "5s" nor "5's" is right, but "fives?"

@pebblestar-nightclan that would be correct. And the plural of Mo would (according to English grammar rules) not have an apostrophe.

edit: Found out at the archives that the plural of Mo is the same as the singular (like most species here):

"Mo are a heavenly"
"Mo are also excellent"
"Mo like to keep warm and"
"Mo can also travel"

@extremeblueness
Alright, that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up! ^^

EDIT:

Oh, okay. So, then shouldn't it say "a list of all their Mo"?

@pebblestar-nightclan I know. but I don't think any moderators have seen this topic yet. Well, I know how to get them over here.

@extremeblueness Only the first 5 pings in your post work 😉

Good job for pointing out that grammatical mistake xD Although the apostrophe would be necessary, I see why Ian put that - 'Mos' is an actual word, used in Electronic terms. It stands for metal oxide semiconductor 😉

@Ian 'A list of all their Mo' would be great 😃
