100 free CC MONTHLY is waaaay too much, but maybe around the holidays or something Ian could have some kind of giveaway/contest/game with CC rewards?

An EC to CC converter would be cool, too. Like the exchange rate could be 10 CC per 1 mil EC or something like that.

True, Ian already said he'd consider 50CC free a month, that amount wouldn't really do much damage to the eggcave economy, especially with 36 monthlies coming out each year :/ It would just be a small token of appreciation for users who stick around, you'd be able to buy yourself a CC creature if you save up for 10 months or get that freeze you want so badly after 5 months, and everyone would be getting it, so it's not unfair.

I think the main problem with a convertor is that it would take away the necessity to buy CC altogether, while 50CC a month is just small change. Think about it, there's 1500CC worth of creatures being released each month, there's no way 50 (or even 100) free CC would make people stop buying CC.

@stellie free 100 CC every month would be nice but then will be a lot of multiply accounts mainly because people who want cc are gonna try to make multiply or use there storage accounts to get more CC causing a lot of more extra usernames in the system.

Plus, 100CC per month? Who would buy CC then?

It would murder the economy.

CC buyers would demand refunds.

There are so many reasons to say no.

umm, first of all that is completely unfair, free cc would be like free money. there are other ways to get cc eggs than buying them, you know. and then ian wouldnt get pay, and he would have to shut down eggcave ☹️

I think it's a good idea because think about it Ian doesn't have to buy cc to give to us every month. and it's like a reward for being staying on eggcave for a month. However maybe it should be 50 cc not 100.

I think 50 CC a month is a great idea. 😃 Old users who can't get CC will get a bit FREE every month, but it will take a long time to save up to buy anything, so people will still buy it. I hope @Ian uses the idea!

I dunno but somehow, I agree with the rest about the site owner having to make income running the site.

However, being one of the poorer (TT.TT) members, I'd also appreciate having to receive free CC once in a while. Maybe once a month is too often. I wouldn't be bothered if we get CC like every Christmas or something like that, though.
