My ear is really hurting... any ideas? (I think it's an ear infection)
frosty • 30 July 2011 at 6:44 PM
Tell a parent. Most of the people here are kids, so I'm sure they won't now either.
crooton1 • 30 July 2011 at 6:45 PM

@crooton1 You should Ice it for ten minutes then heat it for ten, keep switching untill an hour has gone by.

@Crooton1 Sometimes when I get a cold, it's followed by an ear infection. Do you have any type of medicine? I have this medicine at my house that you can drop a little into your infected ear with a dropper, leave it in for a few minutes so it can get deeper into your ear, then hold a napkin over your ear and turn your head sideways... xDSee? I'm a kid (well kinda...) but I know how to take care of ear infctions. XD

Uh, if it's like burning, put ice on it? If it's just in pain, I guess take some pain medication. ONLY if you know the right dosage though.
trish • 30 July 2011 at 6:48 PM
It's probably not an ear infection. I've had it before. It's just air pressure inside your ear basically. It passes.
crooton1 • 30 July 2011 at 6:50 PM
@Trish It's from yesterday. ☹️I can hear the blood going through my ear. >.>And I don't have any medicine. x3

i had it once it really hurt but it went away
dionaea • 30 July 2011 at 8:10 PM
Awww, that's annoying alright. But if you can hear your blood flowing it is indeed most likely a pressure problem. The tube connecting your ear to your throat is probably clogged. Normally when you yawn the pressure equals out, but now it can't. You should definitely tell an adult though, and if it lasts very long you should probably see a doctor.
