when im older i want to be a makeup artist, im still thinking about doing nails and hair, i want to have my own buisness 😃 😊

this year im starting a makeup course at school, its a 4 yr course 😊

yesterday was my first day of it, its once a week every wednesday from 1:30-5

since we only have it once a week the first year will take 2 years to complete (im not too happy about that but ah well 😊 )

so anyway, yesturday was pretty fun, we got all our stuff (which took a long time to get it all sorted) then got tort how to wash out ll the brushes, then paired up to do eachothers makeup...however we wanted for the rest of the time, we got to do what we wanted how we wanted, it was pretty fun 😊

anyone here wanting to be a makeup artist, doing a makeup course or anyone a makeup artist?? 😊

I'm not a make up artist, but have you ever seen the show Face-Off? It's got some amazing makeup on there but it's mostly costume & film makeup 😊

I love doing makeup! I've been doing my makeup and others since I was in 8th grade XD

I love it. You get to be so creative.

The course you're taking sounds really fun. 😋

I'm a movie makeup artist 😃 I do anything from beauty makeup to masks and stuff, much like the guys on Faceoff do 😃 it's a fun career but I suggest if you do become a makeup artist, have a backup plan! a lot of times it doesn't pay much ☹️

i hope it stays fun 😃 there will be a heap of thearie though ☹️ haha 😊 the amount of different things you can try with it, definatly a very creeative thing 😃

@inkstep very cool 😃 do you do any horror movie makeup?? i could throw millions of random questions at you but i wont haha 😸 i thought it would be a pretty high earning job...i guess my backup plan would be something to do with animals haha 😊

@eldnew haha, yea I do that's what I started in (I started with zombies and werewolves and stuff) it's not as earning, it's like my mom's cake business, you make money depending on the size, difficulty and how well you do WHEN you do a makeup, it can range from 50$ for one person or 150 for one, but yes definately have a backup plan, something like beauty makeup would be a little bit more earning In my opinion because more people would want you for prom, weddings, or pageants 😊

@inkstep that would be very fun to do 😃 i love all the effects of horror movie makeup 😊
i want to do makeup for all occasions 😊 so maybe i could also take up photogaphy and be hired for the day by a bride or whatever to do everyones makeup and then take photos of the wedding for them 😊
