I've looked through the Terms of Service and Help & FAQ and can't find anything about it.
On other sites it's against the rules to give your account away,
help?

@toy
I have no idea,I think it's alright if you're quitting and you want your friends to have your account but I can't be sure.

@toy You should not be giving accounts away. Giving accounts to other people can complicate things greatly and usually never ends well for anyone involved.

@orderedchaos
Then why does the site not state it anywhere?
And if it is a side account I don't see too much of a problem.
So is it against the rules or..?

Edit; this sounds rude but it is just dead pan typing, (I think that's what it's called??)
I don't mean any harm by it (:

@toy If you can't give accounts away, then you could always just give all of your creatures and EC, CC, etc to a friend. It might take a little longer to transfer all of the creatures, but it would work.

@toy Its more to make things easier for us. When people give accounts away, suddenly accounts that were storage accounts for months are now "my brother's" or "my friend's". This makes it a lot harder to distinguish accounts of legitimate players with people who are abusing side accounts in order to cheat and are now making up excuses after they've been caught.

There is also the problem of the drama caused by returning players who gave accounts away only to discover that the person they gave the account to did not respect their wishes for it. This can cause quite a bit of drama as people demand creatures back from others who now have them, call out the person they gave the account to, and many people wind up getting harassed. Not a fun time for anyone involved.

So while it isn't explicitly stated that you can't give accounts away, we highly discourage it. Because when it does eventually go wrong, we are the ones left cleaning up the mess and we would rather avoid the mess entirely.
