Favorite Songs Nowadays?

This is a random topic i created where people can come and discuss their music interests. Anything about music, artists, songs, bands, concerts, well, anything 😃

I've been more of a top 40 kind of person, but lately i've been getting into things by The Lumineers and bands like that. I really like songs from 2008 too, things by Train, not Maroon 5 for instance.

I love the song It's Time by the Imagine Dragons! I also really like Paramore as well. The Only Exception will always be one of my favorite songs.

My fave song is "Of the Awful Battle of the Pekes and the Pollicles Together with Some Account of the Participation of the Pugs and the Poms and the Intervention of the Great Rumpuscat" 😃 (It's from Cats. I like it because 1) The song itself is awesome, and 2) When people ask me what my favorite song is, I get to tell them the whole big long title😃)

i really like train, one direction, one republic, sara bareilles, james morrison (little obsessed at the moment haha) coldplay, maroon 5, lady gaga, katy perry, nelly fatardo (can never spell it), matchbox 20 there are more that i dont even remember D:

at the moment i dont have a fave song, somebody that i used to know was my fave for over a yr then it went to yellow by coldplay now its just something by james morrison...i dont really know which song by him, loving his albums 😃 it's probably wonderful world - james morrison, love it 😃

Haha, my favorite songs seriously change on a monthly basis. 😋 I'm like my own radio station--I discover or find myself getting into certain songs every so often, overplay them, and then seek out a new play list of get tired of. xD And it's just so random too. It can be a song that's recently been put on the radio, or it can be that just one day, I really want to listen to Linkin Park or something. xD

I love Steely Dan and Smashing Pumpkins...and Gavin Degraw and Casting Crowns. A weird combo there, but yeah. xD

I REALLY like Red. My favorite songs on it are All Too Well, Stay Stay Stay and Everything Has Changed.
But Fearless is good too, i like the song itself and the song 15 from that album. I like the song "Our Song" too but i cant remember what album its from.

Mostly 22, Trouble, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, and Stay. ❤️ But, I think her best album is her first album. 😋 Picture to Burn kinda makes me laugh. XD I think I like WAYY too much music. Lol, I can't remember it all!

Well I love Train and some what recently discovered Marina and the Diamonds. I find her songs very clever and fun.
I also like Ellie Goulding, especially her song Lights. I also like Florence Welch.

I am not a fan of Taylor Swift. (Don't get me started on why.)

Oh, good. XD Oh, as for your don't know song name dilemma, use Pandora. Chances are the music types are similar enough to each other, that Pandora will eventually play it for you.

@leafpelt I use Pandora a lot, but I never look at the song names.. XD Plus I can't get it (usually). I can only get it at home. So when I'm in the car, I hear a song, and spend days trying to find it. XD

@leafpelt Yeah, I pay attention to the lyrics. I literally memorize all my favorite songs... So I have at least 50 songs memorized. O.o And, I have heard Breathe. I love that song. 😸

If I Die Oung is AWESOME! And I think I've heard Lady Antebellum a few times, she's pretty good too.
