Once upon a time, you were immortal, living in the fields of life, you may have even created something, or devoted to protecting a purpose. You were a God or Goddess of the Old Ways. Magic, Mythology.

But as humanity stopped believing in you, your powers started to die down. As each strand of magic and belief faded, so did your powers.

In order to preserve yourself, you were forced with two choices. Be reborn as a mortal, or waste away and hold onto that last thread, hoping it will never be cut... Only ONE held on

The days of Merlin have just finished. The last human born with magical abilities shunned your kind, thinking it was time for humanity to lead themselves.

But you are one of the smart ones, you decided rebirth, and you were born, just as Merlin was, with fantastic magical powers. If only you could find a way to tap into them and use them.

Merlin has long since died, and so has King Arthur. The new king of Camelot is seeking ANY with magical powers, and bring back the Old Way. Are you ready to impress him? And WHY is he seeking magic since it has been gone for so many years?

Basics

-ANY Camelot known people are not allowed, you can't be, like, Morganna's, third-forth's-second-cousins-former-roomate (lol)
-on that note, knowledge of Merlin or Arthur or anything like that is NOT required, this is just set in the general era
-you CAN be an animal, a creature from EC, or anything alive, myth or real, keep in mind, talking IS preferred, so talking cat's are ok, unless you can RP great with just physical explanations on actions, please, have your creature talk.
-certain magic creatures are ok at full power from the start, depends on what (look at example)
-If you want to RP with a talking familiar, or even a talking sword, that is ok, and would be more fun too
-NO Immortals, remember all the Gods and Goddess from the old days are gone, save one

Rules

-legitimate is number one! No 733t speak, and no ur... if you are talking to a King or Queen, would you really say 'ur' instead of 'you are'? That's just bad manners
-IF you want to create a magical being to play, that ISN'T common knowledge, provide either a picture or let me know and I will find a pic. Pictures speak louder than words.

Magic (your base powers): illusion- making things appear differently from what they really are [an extent of chaos (in a somewhat bad way)]
Magic Knowledge: quite a lot, she's been using it for her own personal gain
Personality: Sort of snarky and up front, Fallon thinks she can do everything on her own, or that nothing is too hard for her. If she is in fact defeted at something, she's not too good with dealing with it and dusually something bad happens (and fails by backfiering on her) Fallon isn't the brightest, but sticks to her catlike logic despite what other people may say
Appearance: Fallon has short black hair with a few creamy streaks, grey eyes and fair skin, she has rather angular features but also a soft figure, her curvy form covered mostly by black and white. Fallon walks with a small limp and caries a number of scores and bruises from her -not so skilled- living off whatever she could.
Background (if you have one ): (I'm thinking one up, give me some time 😊 )
Other: Caries a Puca around for good luck (but it mostly brings misfortune)

@inkstep well, after many days, and no interest, it's sad ;.; I even had a full plot laid out too, :/ I guess most people here keep to their own personal RP groups, like these warrior cats things and not interested in anything 'new'

It's like I'm the new kid at school, doesn't mean I don't know how to do things, just, cuz I'm new, no one bothers :/

@aloriality dang, I love rp's like this though! there aren't any around and I thrive off of medieval stories hahaha. Most people here stick to their own things, yes, but there are many who are willing to jump to new things, they just never seem to be on!
I know the feeling of being new, despite h aving been on this site for a long while, I *STILL* feel new! haha

@inkstep really? the loss of magic, and well, in a way, my plot IS a bit touchy on the religious front if I was going to do it MY way,

Which is why I wanted others to help change things around.

Do you like this because of what? The old legends? How 'Magick' is? Are you a fan of the BBC series Merlin?

I remember you wanted to almost create your own race, well, why not?

Elves are SOOO over-done. Nymphs, Pixies, Will-o-the-whisps. Even a REAL Chimera... is your dragon skin scales or furr or feathers?

The door to creativity is SO open, but very few turn the knob.... I am thinking these days it should be a 'push' door >.>

@aloriality haha I love the whole plot you have written out up there! I don't know really why I like it so much, just everything about it is amazing and it caught my attention 😊 The old legends intrigue me, I like the magic coming back/being lost in the first place and I really like the sort of rebirth idea! I've never seen the series Merlin but I've heard a lot about it and have wanted to watch it for some time 😉
ew yea elves are everywhere it's upsetting, people go with the scratching-the-surface-of-0-creativity rout and make elves and fairies and *ugh kill me* vampires/werewolves with no description! it's a pain! there's so much room for creativity but no one fills in the space

@inkstep yeah, and I did have a plan for why and all. I DID base it on the Aruthorian stuff, mainly cuz of who I planned as the 'bad guy'. The last one would ever suspect....

And yeah you should watch the BBC stuff, it's fantastic, though my mom get's all the new shows on her tv when they air, I have to tell her to keep her lips tight on the spoilers.

There is also another one, a TV special with Sam Neil, THAT is the one I base this more on, when Merlin was a kid and grew, Oddly enough it was called Merlin >.> It has cheezy graphics and stuff, but I still love that.

I always planned on it but I have such a thick schedual sometimes that I can't fit in things like that ☹️ but now that you provided a link, I'll look into it asap 😃
the new one sounds interesting as well, I'll look into all of it 😊

I wonder if I should try outside of the typical background. People seem to like My Little Ponies, I wonder if I can start one close to the old ones, and then the one one twist.

@aloriality A roleplay doesn't have to have a lot of players to be good. Some of the longest roleplays are done between a tight group of roleplayers. Ask @inkstep We've done some long RPs with three players. REPO remember? That continued long, didn't it?

And anyways, starting only with two players doesn't mean that no-one else will join. A lot of people get intrigued by roleplays with interesting twists in the story. People are bound to join so don't get discouraged. ^^ We can make more than one characters so we would fill the gap.

but yea, @aloriality we've had some pretty long rp's with just two peeps 😊 we have one going right now that's skyrocketed and I think it's at like, 20-25 pages ATM, and there's always room for more peeps to join because a lot of people here join AFTER the rp has started so they already have basic lines to work with

@inkstep @aizel I'm sorry guys, my comp fried, so my online time is limited, hoping to get the comp back tomorrow.

I hope I didn't spill too much of my plans for the story, but perhaps you two are right, it may be great with a smaller group, it would make things easier for me to follow and keep track of too, as 'moderator' so to speak LOL.

Since I see so much desire in you two, then yes, let's start it up. ^^

I don't know how you tewets [pronounced toots] (yeah my crazy version of plural for two O_O it's funner than couple, and doesn't have the romantic implications) are used to RPing, but I will another rule

-no assuming what another character says or does. Example you can't be playing as Butter the Fly, and then say "As Fuzzy the Cat trips over a a treetrunk" NOT even if Fuzzy the Cat is also someone you play, on a side or another player.

Just to keep things more interesting, cuz you never know how the other person will react. (even IF you are playing the other, I am only linking one character to one account) so any new people who might come in, can see the account who posted their stuff, and not get all confuzzled, it may be annoying, logging and out, especially if you tewts do create more than one character and have a scene where you are, like, RPing with yourself.

Does that sound ok? Or what? O_O again, I am used to hosting Rps, but not the EC ones, so a lot of people do things differently

I would prefer if you used the account the plan to rp with, so, as on the list of posts, it's different than @inkstep who people think is one character, when yeah, you can have more than one, but thing is, I would rather you post on that side account.

Example, I will create my own character, to use on aloriality, but I will also post on another account, and that will be as if it's two different people, ya know?

And I would like to reserve character profiles separately too

@inkstep yeah, thank you, as I mentioned, it would avoid confusion. And also, make the single character more 'real' because it's only one.

I dislike people playing multiple on one account, or under one name. I like people to be seperate, and though it may be the same person behind the computer, it's someone different on the forum.

Sorry to have strict rules like that, it's just, an easier way for me to keep track.

@inkstep @inkstep Since it's just US, I would like if we knew the legends of Camelot, I did mention before that knowing it wasn't a requirement, but to keep it close-knit, I would like all of us to know the camelot and arthur and merlring legends.
