"Sorry Bloodkit, I don't know where Streamsong is." Halfstar meowed. 'Why is a clanless kit asking for Streamsong?' She thought.

Redkit crawled slowly behind Hopekit. The ginger kits tail flicked and she pounced on top of the young tom. "Gotcha!" she yowled as she landed on top of him.

"You can look for her if you wish," Halfstar said as she stood. She didn't think one kit could create chaos in the clan, and if it liked camp the kit might just stay. Halfstar gave a small nod as she walked past the kit. Ever sense she had become leader she hadn't gotten to simply hunt or walk alone. Her tail flicked happily as she made her way out into the forest, dappled light shone on the ground underpaw.

Hopekit let out a yelp and looked up at Redkit with a look like, "Seriously?" Then he grinned and kicked her off with his hind legs. "Beat that Redkit!" He gave her a teasing nudge, half trying to knock her balance.

Redkit pounced again, determined not to let the tom beat her. "Easily" She purred as she pinned Hopekit down. "You could have given more of a fight you know." Redkit teased as she stepped off of him.

Halfstar looked around to make sure no clan cats had followed. Carefully she made her way to the twoleg place. With a flick of her tail Halfstar jumped onto the fence and into the twoleg's yard.

Redkit wriggled under Hopekits weight. "Get off your as fat as a badger!" She purred.

Halfstar slipped quickly inside the twoleg nest. She was greeted by a young twoleg and Halfstar purred loudly. She padded into the kitchen and took a mouth full of cat food left for her by the twolegs.

Jaypaw padded into camp, a mouth full of herbs in her jaws. She walked to the medicine cats den to put away the new supplies. Jaypaw sat down and started sorting the herbs. "Lets see... Marigold, Horsetail, Tansy..." she mumbled to her self.

Hopekit grinned. "Watch who you're calling a badger.. cause.. cause.. you're as sneaky as a fox!" he reached over and grabbed a feather lying on the ground, and used it to tickle her.

Redkit squealed happily and pounced on Hopekit again. "A warrior never lets their guard down!" She meowed in triumph. The ginger she-cats pelt looked like a flame in the mid-day light and her Green eyes shone as she looked down at Hopekit.

Hollowsong walked into the medicine cat den with chervil in his mouth. He gently set it down with the rest of the stock and he walked over to Jaypaw. "How are the stores coming along?" He questioned her, "What do we need more of?" He said, looking over the apprentices shoulder to see what she was sorting. He was worried that they'd run out of an important herb when it was needed.

Jaypaw jumped at the sudden voice of Hollowsong. "Oh, Umm..." The apprentice stuttered. She could feel her pelt become hot with embarrassment in front of her new mentor. "Well, we don't have...." She glanced around quickly. "C-catmint?" Jaypaw hoped she said the right name as she glanced up at her mentor.

Hollowsong seemed oblivious to his apprentice's embarrassment. "Catmint? Oh great, that's the main treatment for whitecough and greencough. I'll go see how the sprouts are doing. I think they're big enough that we can take some of the stocks, but not all of them, we'll need to save them in case there is a real emergency. Any other herbs or berries that we are low on?"

Jaypaw pushed a small stack of marigold over to the main pile. "Umm, I don't think so. We could always use more cobwebs i guess." She meowed. Jaypaw was glad her mentor was so nice, in her short time in training he hadn't gotten mad at her for mixing up the wrong herbs or gathering the wrong things. With time though, Jaypaw was sure she'd make one of the best medicine cats the clan had ever seen.

Redkit's whiskers twitched. "Oh Im so scared!" She meowed sarcastically and jumped away from Hopekit.

Hollowsong nodded thoughtfully, "So catmint and cobwebs?" He said, nodding his head as he spoke. "Okay, want to come out into the forest with me and I'll show you or catmint stalks." He suggested to her, his front paw fidgeting as it did from an old wound he had received as a kit.

Streamsong limped into camp. She was sorry she couldn't have met Bloodkit, but on the way there, she had stepped right on a huge thorn. It was still in her pad. The wound was bleeding a bit around the thorn, but she was pretty sure that it would start bleeding a lot more if she took the thorn out. She was limping over to the medicine cat's den when she spotted her sister. In camp. For some reason Bloodkit was in the camp. "Bloodkit! What are you doing here?"

Bloodkit spun around, hearing Streamsong's voice. There was her sister! She rushed over. "Where were you?"
