14-character rule

I was wondering why I've seen a few creatures with more than 14 letters in their names, but the Town Hall wouldn't let me name mine more than that.

I have wondered that too because I got to steal a critter and i can put 15 random letters but then i have to rename 14 and under

Why do creatures have more than 14 letters in their names? -In the cave there's a 20 (I think it's 20) character limit ;p

But in Town Hall the character limit is shorter ;p Someone posted this a while back and no one knew why the character limits were different ;p
