Chiara walked outof the kitchen. "Feeling better, Caroline?" she asked. She glanced at Sharp Tooth. He seemed to be behaving, so she ignored him. "Sandwiches, anyone?" Chiara held out a tray of fresh sandwiches.

"How is it?" Chiara grinned at Sharp Tooth. Suddenly there was a tremor. Chiara's sandwich tray clattered to the ground, and the world went black. Chiara desperately searched for her matchbox. She lit a match. "Everyone okay?" she asked.
