Caroline looked up at the stairs, frowning slightly. "Oh," she said. "It's missing a step."
She looked back at Storm carefully, getting up. She had decided to trust him. He had, after all, shown her the step just now. "I'm Caroline," she said.

Peter flew from the house to rest on Caroline's shoulder. She patted him.

Sharp Tooth purred. (That's right, Mountion Lion's can't roar...so they purr. All big cats that can't roar,purr.) "Hi, Peter." Storm said.
/Should we really be talking to her?"/ Sharp Tooth looked at Storm.
"I don't know. I think we should, she could be helpful." Storm said, petting Sharp Tooth.
Fire flew. He found Sharp Tooth and Storm. Fire landed on Sharp Tooth's back.
"This is Fire. I named him that because look." Storm said. He was pointing at Fire's eyes...witched looked like fire when you looked in them.

Caroline looked down from her distraction to Sarah. She frowned slightly, reaching out to touch it. But she thought otherwise, and drew her hand away. "Can you walk at all?"
Caroline looked back at Storm and his animals. "Fire is a great name," she said, looking into his eyes. She smiled slightly at them. "You certainly have quite a team."

Caroline blinked, frowning slightly. She had never heard very many guys say her name before. It made her smile, slightly.
She took a few steps after him, then stopped, figuring she'd stay near Sarah in case something else happened. This day just seemed to be full of bad happenings.
