Just post any stories about how you stumbled across your favorite band 😊

I love Three Days Grace. I started listening to it when I was EIGHT. A year later, I started listening to Slipknot and other heavy death metal bands xD

How I stumbled across 3DG: I used to be a die-hard Warriors fan. (I still read the books occasionally) I watched the Warrior Cats AMV by AliKatNya (I think that's her name?) with Time Of Dying. I loved the song, but I didn't really listen to 3DG music often. Then, while reading a FanFiction, I read a story that I really liked. I clicked on the writer's profile and saw that the person LOVED the song Pain by 3DG. I searched it up on YouTube and I LOVED IT. I am now 15 years old and I love Three Days Grace ❤️

So, what about you?

@scream

Oh this is so hard, I have several favorites.

Well, there's Bruce Springsteen: my number 1. My dad introduced me to him when I was 6 months old. I've been listening to him evah since

There there's Linkin Park: I love them. Their lyrics are just so, meaningful. My dad, again, showed me them with "Numb" from Meteora. My god I fell in love. I was 6 them.

Then there's Skrillex: wub wub wub. Out of all people, MY MATH TEACHER show me his dubstep. It was the beginning of this year, she played it in class. And I fell in love ❤️ It was "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" that she played.

Then, the last is Three Days Grace: my friend in 3rd grade when she showed me "Animal I have Become" and "Time of Dying". Then I fell in love with "Never Too Late" and "Pain" ;^;

I could go on, but I chose to make it short ;D

@whispers Nice 😃 I like Skrillex, too, but I prefer Knife Party as a dubstep band.

I'm pretty sure that my favorite Three Days Grace song would have to be either Expectations of Broken Glass. Love em!

I've been stuck listening to only like 15 tracks xD My dad keeps forgetting to get iTunes money for me. And when I do get it: 3DG just slips out of my mind and I spend it on dubstep XD //fail//

My favorite band is Pierce the Veil. How I came across them? Tumblr. XD

I haven't been listening to them for TOO long, but I really like a lot of their songs. So amazing. :x

I don't think I really have another favorite band. There's some bands I like 2 or 3 of their songs, but I've never heard a PTV aog I don't like. ^^

@dawnfur Never heard of them 😱 I'm gonna go check them out!

I understand. Some bands like Breaking Benjamin I like a few songs, but not all.

@whispers Ouch D: I always get the album and just load them on to my phone.

Breaking Benjamin is actually one of those bands for me. Three days grace, linkin park, of mice & men, sleeping with sirens... ^^

(Caraphernelia is my favorite by PTV~)

I have mixed tastes spanning over ever genre save rap. I have a horrible weakness for songs done in alternative genres or a ccapella or acoustic.

Some come from family, some from general music browsing. But my favorite band I found via friend who had heard one of the band's songs in a video game. Certainly not in the same vein as your favorites, but they're my darlings.

However, as a Three Days fan (which is glorious) I'm sure you've heard Adam's team up with Apocalyptica. Beautiful work there.

@scream OMFGGG I love Three Days Grace! The first song I ever heard by them was Blvd. of Broken Dreams. Still my favorite song by them.

I came across the band Get Scared on Pandora. The songs are mostly Death Metal, but they're really inspiring when it comes to writing.

I hate bands >.< I just feel like a person is capable of going solo and they can be themselves solo, rather than be in a band.

But my favorite artist is P!nk. I've been listening to her songs since I was little and I actually saw her on March 25th 😊 She was so amazing live.

Other favorite artists are Bruno Mars and Ke$ha (she's crazy and I love it).

I'm seeing Ke$ha for the second time with Pitbull in June. I saw her as an opening act for Rihanna in 2010 😊

Well, I love Steely Dan and Dire Straits because of my parents. A lot of what they play on their radio stations and what I grew up listening to.

I mostly find my music by listening and then looking it up online.😊

I really like Coldplay and OneRepublic.

I found out about OneRep through Pandora, and Coldplay through.....I don't even know. I heard about them when I was really little and I kept confusing them with Coldstone Creamery.

Oh and I also like Linkin Park, Owl City, and A Rocket To The Moon. weird combination of genres, I know xD

I don't remember how I stumbed into my favorites bands (Evanescence, TDG, Rise Against, Chevelle, Within Temptation, Linkin Park)but I DO remember how I stumbled into my favorite song.

I was in the car with my mom and my two friends and we were driving my friends back home. We had "Three Days Grace Radio" playing on Pandora, which I knew practically every song that ever played on there. But there was this one that I just... I guess it's lyrics really stuck out to me from the start, along with the emotion in his voice as he sang. It goes by the name of "Careless Whisper." By Seether. The original is by Wham, but I like Seether's version tons better. However, I guess I can give credit for the lyrics to Wham. (;

Three Days Grace I discovered myself. I don't remember the details though since it was so long ago.

My best friend got me listening to the Kpop band Big Bang so she gets the credit for that.

@newlife that songs by He is We and Owl City, great song.

@scream mines not really a band but it's more of a group. They are called Timeflies. They are still underground but i found them through my brother. At first i absolutely did not like it then something hit me and i fell in love with them. I have been a strong fan for quite some time now. And Three Days Grace is great. I also really love Taking Back Sunday and Senses Fail, and a bit of Avenged Sevenfold.
