@skylark@dada_dragonThe first thing Meilin noticed was an incessant buzzing. It seemed to flit around her head, one minute in her left ear, the other in her right. Where was she? Her head was pounding. Was she lying on grass? That buzzing was so annoying. It just droned on and on. She felt like she had been sleeping for.. Forever. Sitting up tentatively, Meilin opened her eyes. She was in a clearing surrounded by trees, dotted with bushes that had strange flowers. That buzzing was driving her insane. 'Shut u-*hic*' Ew! Did the source of the buzzing just fly into her mouth? She burst into a round of coughs, and the insect flew out, intact. She coughed some more and rubbed her tongue with her fingers before turning her glare to the fly. 'I'm gonna kill you..' She growled at the little insect. It was hard to focus on anything right now though, and the fly dodged her grabbing hands. Grumbling, she gave up. It was hard to catch a fly while seeing two. She rubbed her forehead. What had happened? She couldn't remember anything but her own name... And the fact that the bright pink flowers on the bushes she could see out of the corner of her eye was really starting to annoy her. She was tired, dazed, and very hungry, but what she really wanted was answers. Actually, answers could come second. Where does one go to eat in a place like this? She patted down her hair. She could tell from the feel of it that it was a mess. Not that she cared, though. At the moment the only thought swimming through her mind was 'food,'.

@skylark @ninjagirl @dada_dragon~~~ Fang began traveling through walls, his senses more acute in this form than his regular. Now now... Where was his next victim? Suddenly, it clicked in the red-haired boy's mind. Guard Duty, outside by the entrance. Fang continued traveling through walls until there were no more, then looped around towards the main entrance. Standing guard were 2 men covered entirely in their guard outfits. The one to the left was talking in a low voice, though not low enough."Zorel is a maniac." The left guard said. "He's completely psychopathic! The only reason-" The guard cut himself off when he heard a crack towards a area of trees. Fang had thrown a rock. "I'm going to check that out..." he said to the other guard before heading over with gun raised. The second the trash-talking guard was out of sight from his friend, Fang punched him in the face and wrapped his arms around the guard's neck, choking him to death. The strangled guard fell to the ground with a thump and before the boy left, he used his foot and stomped on the dead guard's head. He reached down and swiped blood off the floor before leaving a chilly message on the ground. 'The Doctor doesn't like being talked about like that.' He rubbed the rest of the blood off his finger in a smear at the end of the message, before reverting to his secondary form. Fang was ready to bathe in the blood of his third and last victim. After all, he was the spider and they the fly. He was the predator and they the prey. Fang began to stalk towards the building.

Ethan looked up at the boy who had just arrived. He was a larger kid, that much was for sure, but he didn't seem threatening at least..."Hey, uh..." He mumbled, half distracted by Aykay, who seemed to be quietly sleeping now. "My sister seems to be... Well I don't know... She was shaking pretty badly but she's looking better but... Well I'm not sure what's going on or why I'm here."He took a second to gather himself before going on. He was rambling. He held out his hand."I'm Ethan."

@dada_dragon GAH ❤️~ 😃 Aaron raised an eyebrow at the mumbling dude. He seemed to be voicing his jumbled thoughts, not trying to explain himself too much. When he stuck out his hand and introduced himself, Aaron immediately decided right then and there that he liked him. Obviously 'like' as in liking his character. As a person. Noooo way was Aaron gay or anything like that. Anyways, Aaron smiled and shook his hand, his black skin highly contrasting Ethan's tanned skin. "I'm Aaron! Who's the chick?"

@GLaDOS"And that most important thing ever is..." He stretched his arms towards the floating figure, grinning ever so evilly. "...NAMING IT!"A pin dropped in the room somewhere, echoing the awkward silence. One of the guards sheepishly raised his hand. Dr. Zorel sent a scathing look at him. "Why is that important?", the guard proceeded to ask, misinterpreting his glare. Dr. Zorel facepalmed, and sighed. "Ugh, you mortals have no brains." He threw up his hands in defeat and simply answered, "Names make everything. They define who/what the person/object is, and why it exists." He slapped the table. "For example, if Shirley had been named wrong, I would not be ruling the world." He smiled nicely, but he seemed to be in pain during it. "Alas, that is why we must name this magnificent beauty- Perfectly."

@Skylark@Dada_dragon@Bunnyshadow@Glados@AsiRight. Food. Meilin bit her lip. Wait, what was that? She ran her tongue over her canines. They were sharp. Not "sparkly teenage vampire" sharp. Her bottom canines were pointy too. all in all they were more like the mini version of a sabre tooth tiger. Or a snake. Whichever. She furrowed her brow. That was weird. Normal people didn't have this, as far as she could remember. And nothing in her memory told her that she had had these before waking up in this jungle-like place. Then there was that blank period in her brain, where she could remember nothing. it was as if one minute she was turning the corner of a street alley in her downtrodden hometown, the next she was here. That didn't make much sense. What was she supposed to do now, hunt? Meilin didn't hunt. She just stole money and used it to buy food. Was she supposed to just pick up some random hunting skills? Hm. Maybe not hunting. What about plants? But she liked meat... She needed to get out of this jungle. She couldn't bear the thought of having to live without meat. Still, beggars can't be choosers. She plodded over to the pink flowered bush to check for berries. There was indeed berries there, the same colour as the flowers. A hot fuchsia colour that seemed to burn straight through the contrastingly plain green leaves. To her it just didn't feel natural. She plucked a few, but as she raised them to her mouth a rising feeling of panic grew in her chest. What if these berries were poisonous? She rolled one between her fingers and pursed her lips. She wasn't THAT hungry... Maybe she could watch the animals. If they ate off of a bush and didn't die, maybe she could do it too. Or maybe she could try to kill the animal. There was a couple of bushes dotted around the clearing, with flowers of different colours growing on them. They all seemed too bright for Meilin's taste. An electric blue, a startling yellow.. The jungle seemed surreal. She sat down and tried to blend in as best as she could. She was wearing black, but in the green jungle with all these neon colours it didn't do her any good. But as time passed, she simply waited and observed.

Eventually, there was a fluttering of wings. Not daring to move even an inch, she could not see the bird until it came into her sign of vision. The bird flew swiftly through the trees, stopping to land on one of the yellow bushes. It expertly plucked off a berry and swallowed, before picking another in its mouth and flapping off again. Why yellow? She hated that colour. She begrudgingly stood up and moved towards the bush. She grabbed a bunch off berries and put them in her left trouser pocket, before dropping the fuchsia ones into her right trouser pocket. She then took a yellow berry out. Inspecting it thoroughly, Meilin cautiously put the berry to her mouth. She was nervous. What if only birds could eat these berries? Wait, what was the logic behind that thought? She popped it into her mouth, not even stopping to chew as she swallowed it. 'Please don't kill me..' She muttered, eating a few more to ease the hunger. She then stalked through the trees, checking around to see if she could find some slow, easy to catch animal. Like a sloth. Then again, sloths seemed vicious. They might maul her. Lost in thought about how dangerous most animals could actually be, Meilin walked without purpose.---------Yo bros my post was too long- Ciara... Actually - @Ninjagirl because you probably didn't know my name was Ciara. And now you do... I'm rambling *head explodes*

Ethan looked back at his sister anxiously."That's Autumn... I guess she likes being called Aykay though... An old nickname, though how she got it is a little foggy in my memories." He answered. "I haven't got a clue what's wrong with her, but she's out cold..."He put his hand on her shoulder and felt the same feeling as before, but much less powerful. Fortunately, he didn't shoot an energy ball (or whatever that thing was) again. There was a small arc of what looked like electricity that danced between his fingertips for a split second. What was going on?@skylark

Another boy awoke in the forest, his limbs stiff, head still fuzzy with sleep, and a strange metallic tang in his mouth. For a time he simply lay there, waiting as though expecting some kind of instructions. When nothing was forthcoming, he slowly grew discontent with his position; something hard was sticking into his back, and an irritating crawly sensation was happening on one of his legs. Warily, he raised his eyelids slightly and light flooded into his vision. The boy quickly clenched then shut again, then began to panicked when it remained bright, light piercing through his eyelids. "S-so bright," he stuttered slightly, flipping over onto his stomach and getting a facefull of blessed darkness.That.. Though better for his eyes, it was even less comfortable than before. The boy, whoever he was, forced himself up into a sitting position, hiding his face in his hands as a shield from the light. Why was it so glarey? It felt hot and angry, and it obviously wasn't something he was used to, so where was he? And most importantly, who was 'he'?Letters. He scrabbled at them.An L. There was definitely an L to whoever he was. An A after that. He knew there was an R in there somewhere, and thought perhaps it started with a G.Gla.....r...Glarren.

@skylark @___ @GLaDOS~~~Fang took 'delicate' care of his last victim. If you could call ripping the guard's head clean off his body, delicate. His arms and hands were gloved in a suspicious-looking red liquid that was barely kept from dripping onto the ground as the assassin headed back to the Doctor and his assistant. He nudged the door open with his shoulder, knowing from last time that blood caking doorknobs weren't appreciated. Not that he actually cared.Fang stepped into the room, fangs bared in his trademark smile. "I'm back, Doctor. I hope I didn't make to much of a mess. You might want to send someone to clean up after my... leftovers." His features moved into a pout that didn't quite fit his blood soaked limbs before he lifted his hand up and began licking the iron-tasting liquid off his fingers. ~~~I think Fang was made in one of the darkest corners of my brain.
skylark • 10 August 2013 at 4:23 PM
Doctor Zorel smiled gently at Fang, and snapped his fingers at one of the guards to go clean up Fang's work. Honestly, Zorel was a little bit grossed out at how Fang did his job. But then again, he had never had been good around guts and blood. He turned to Jon and raised his eyebrows slightly, still waiting for a sign or something of that kind to his last hanging sentence. "Well?"@GLaDOS @bunnyshadow~*~*~Aaron raised his eyebrows rather high, as he was confused as to how the energy coursed through both Aykay and Ethan. It almost seemed like there was a missing limb, one that they both shared. "Try doing that ball thing again? But don't blow off my head!"@dada_dragon
dada_dragon • 11 August 2013 at 6:45 AM
Ethan nodded and tried to remember what he'd done the first time. He could still feel a cold tingling sensation from the energy or electricity or whatever it was in his stomach, so he raised his hand and imagined it going out his arm.The ball of energy or who-knows-what was much smaller this time, though it still took a small chunk out of the tree he aimed it at. He looked down at his hand in disbelief. That was not normal..."What do you make of this?" He asked the boy.@skylark
skylark • 11 August 2013 at 7:40 PM
@asi @meilin @ninjagirl POST!~*~@dada_dragonAaron watched in awe, as the energy ball formed and blasted itself into a tree at Ethan's command. "Well, I wouldn't want to be in front of you!" He scratched his head and shrugged. "... does it feel weird?" He looked at Aykay. "You sure she's okay?"
dada_dragon • 11 August 2013 at 7:54 PM
Ethan looked down at his hand. It felt kind of warm, but other than that, it looked perfectly normal."It feels weird." He confirmed, still not sure what was going on. He tried it again, but this time nothing happened. "It didn't hurt or anything... It was just weird. But it doesn't seem to be working anymore..."He looked back down at his sister, but she didn't move except for the slow rise and fall of her chest that meant she was still alive..."I don't know, but I'm worried." He said in response to the second question. "Something is going on and it isn't normal. That's all I've been able to come up with."@skylark

@skylark AHHHH @dada_dragonAs Meilin slipped the berries into her pocket, she heard a commotion from the north-eastern direction. She pursed her lips. It sounded like someone was throwing bombs all over the place. Should she go check it out? The sounds seemed somewhat threatening. She would go, but she would be stealthy about it. No good getting killed by walking into things. She took a step towards the forest before remembering how badly dressed she was for such a colourful place. It would be as easy as noticing slenderman in the middle of a sweet shop. For her to be well hidden, it would take lots of cover. Things like trees and bushes for her to hide behind. Her first plan would've been to simply stand still and blend in, but she wasn't in the grey excuse for a city anymore. There were no dark alleyways to hide in or people to blend with. There was only trees, bushes and colour all over the place. This would be harder than she had first expected. She continued to stalk through the forest, making sure she didn't trip over fallen branches or step on some noisy animal. As she came closer to the source of the noise, she began to get more cautious, climbing up trees and clambering over to another whose branch stuck out in her direction. Sometimes she would even crouch and walk under the bushes. Finally she settled herself up a tree which had a direct vantage point of the scene. There was two young boys talking to eachother. As she had just witnessed, the source of the noise seemed to be the one with his hand on the unconscious girl -who looked strangely alike him, twins maybe?-. He had shot out a bright ball of.. Whatever.. With his other hand. It had, in turn, taken out a chunk of the tree it hit. She could see the damage from his last one, too. Those things looked dangerous. If she had come across them under different circumstances she probably would've written them all off as harmless, but not now. If he had a power like that- wait, what was she thinking? People don't get powers.. Do they? She had those weird teeth.. But they seemed only like a mutation. Anyway, what good were they? If only she could shoot lasers out of them or something. But anyway, for now she would call the bolt shooter a gun- if he had a gun like that, she was sure the other boy would too. Maybe the girl had one aswell. That would mean if she had gotten into a mess with them, she would well and truly be dead. That would be losing. She didn't want to lose. A squirrel dropped on to her head, interrupting her thoughts, and began swiping at her furiously. It didn't harm her very much, as the squirrel missed most of the time anyway. But it was a nuisance. She picked it up by the scruff of its neck. Maybe this would be a good chance to test out her teeth. She held the small animal to her mouth and slowly bit down on it. That wasn't that bad. She could taste it's fur. And it's blood. Then something weird happened. She could feel a weird sensation in her gums where the abnormal teeth were positioned. She took the squirrel out of her mouth and put a finger up to one. Something was dripping from it. Was she bleeding? She took the finger back to inspect it. She was bleeding! Wait, that was squirrel blood. Along with that, there was a clear substance on her finger. She looked at the squirrel. What was this, dripping from her teeth? Was it poison? She couldn't tell. The squirrel could've died from loss of blood anyway. She knew it wasn't saliva as it was.. Different. If she looked closely she could see traces of other colours, toxic colours. Colours like green and purple. It was very faint, and she had to put her finger very close to her eye to see them. It was hard to notice this .. Poison.. At all, she observed. Still, she would have to bite people for it to work. That meant close combat, which was a risk, no matter how assured of her fighting skills she was. She wished she could have one of those gun things they had down there. Actually, speaking of them, that squirrel had been pretty noisy. What if they saw her and blasted her out of the tree? Even though she was behind the tree.. Wait, what if they already knew she was there and were waiting for a good time to kill her? She had to stop thinking like that.. The best thing to do now, she supposed, was to sit in the tree and find out more about them.. If they hadn't already noticed her.

Ethan heard the sound of a squirrel making a fuss. He smiled, despite the situation they were in. Squirrels were so... normal. Suddenly, the squirrel let out a loud squeak then was silent. That was not normal."Something is over there." He whispered to Aaron. It must be an animal or something. Badger? No, this was a jungle. He immediately stopped trying to figure it out. Tigers... Snakes... Piranhas...@ninjagirl @skylark
