@takatheeducatedkid DON lol@-misterman-@whispers---"Nothing!" Henri looked at him strangely before Terrance burst through the door and opened her cell. When she was released, she immediately sprinted through the door and lunged at Steven, climbing onto his back and tightening her arms around his neck until he couldn't breathe. Henri could see through the door the battle that was taking place. She screamed at Terrance to fight as hard as he could.

@cotton @-misterman-@whispers---Steven, determined not to let himself get nearly choked again, grabbed Henri's arm and twisted it hard, freeing him from her grasp. In order to keep her away, he quickly put up his hand, sending in her direction a pulse of energy that slammed her against the wall."Henri!" Terrance yelled, turning to aid his friend."No hard feelings!" Don said with a smile as he came down hard on the back of Terrance's head with his elbow."Augh!" Terrance held the back of his head as he fell to his knees in pain, but before either of the Overseers could attack him again, he teleported to the other side of the room. He began to flicker as though he were teleporting still, yet remained in place. Henri could practically feel the power emanating from him as he stood in front of her, ready to take on anyone who would dare to harm her again.

@takatheeducatedkid@-misterman-@whispers---"Terrance, no!" Henri choked out. She couldn't let him stop fighting for her. They had to escape now...She stood up next to him and gasped in pain; one of her ribs must have been fractured. Still, they needed to get out, so she ignored it. There was nothing Henri could do now. Her powers had no way to be used.

@cotton @takatheeducatedkidSorry about not posting for a while, I've been really busy. But, I just read over what I missed and I'm really confused. First of all, I don't really know where Don came into play, and who he is. And then, to me, it seems as if one moment Don's just being bitten by a mosquito, then POOF some random battle starts and I don't know why! .__.Sorry if the answers to my confusion are right in the roleplay, but, I cannot seem to find them in the text in front of me.

@whispers Don is one of the Overseers (like Steven). After Don and Steven escorted Henri and Terrance back to the cells, Terrance said he had to use the restroom. He wanted to escape the lab. When Terrance came out of the restroom, he attacked Steven and stole the key card that would let the Elementals out of their cells. Whilst this was happening, Don realized that Steven and Terrance were taking an unusually long time at the restroom. To make sure that Don did not discover what was going on, Henri used her powers to coax a mosquito into biting Don in an attempt to distract him. After that, Terrance came back with the key card and opened all of the Elementals' cells. When the Elementals were released, they began to attack Steven and Don so that the Elementals could escape. Henri tried to attack Steven but he threw her against a wall. Now Terrance is standing in front of her and I assume they're going to fight off Steven and Don.

@cotton Thanks (:@takatheeducatedkidMilo had somehow not noticed the fighting occurring, or that his cell door was wide open. Then, he noticed Terrence and Henri. He had to help.Although he was lethargic, he stood up and hauled himself at Don, tackling him to to the ground. "Henri, Terrence! How badly are you guys hurt?"

@whispers @cotton @takatheeducatedkid ---As Zayne's cell door slid open, he rushed out. Seeing Milo tackle Don left only Steven standing. Running up behind Steven, Zayne grabbed his left arm and right shoulder, then, pushing him flat up against the wall he froze Steven's arms to it."Hurry, we should move before the alarm goes off!"

@-misterman-@whispers@cotton---"I'm not hurt badly, but I'm not sure about Henri." Terrance said, seeing that Henri was in pain.Steven tried hard to break free of the ice, but to no avail. Don shoved Milo off him and pulled out a radio. "There's a break out, we need backup over here." he said into it as he stood up, brushing himself off and shaking his head at Steven, who gave him yet another annoyed look as he continued to try and pull at least one of his arms from the wall. Don didn't seem to be doing anything to stop them anymore.Terrance wrapped his arm around Henri to help support her and tossed the card key to Zayne. "Open the remaining cells and let's get out of here." he said with a smile, knowing they had a good chance of escaping now. All they had to do was leave before the backup arrived.

@takatheeducatedkid@whispers@-misterman----Walking was a bit uncomfortable for Henri, even with Terrance helping her out. Even so, she looked up at him with a slightly worried smile. "Thanks, I'll be okay. Let's just focus on getting out of here." She was terrified that they wouldn't be able to escape in time. Don was acting too calm for the situation; he must know that backup would be coming fast. Henri didn't want any of her problems to be slowing the group down. She knew how much Terrance wanted to leave, she could see it in his face.

He pulled out his own card key and held it out in front of him and flicked his wrist in a strange way, dropping it next to Milo. "Oops." he said quietly."What are you doing?!" Steven growled at Don, trying harder to break free. "You're going to get us both killed!""I wouldn't be so sure," Don answered, "it was only an accident." He smiled, though Steven couldn't see.

I think the RP is moving pretty slow and I'm super excited to see what happens 😃---Henri turned herself around and a bone shifted uncomfortably. "Milo, get it! Hurry!" she coughed. She wasn't sure if they could trust Don, but they needed to take the card while they had a chance.

@cotton @takatheeducatedkid @-misterman- I'll try to stay on as long as I can, but the times I do get some free time to hop on anymore are at most 5 minutes at a time xD-Milo quickly swooped down and snatched the key before Don could reach for it. Then, he ran after Henri and Terrence, who were making their way towards the exit. As he ran, he noticed how Don hadn't "accidentally" drop the key, and he had smiled a bit. What a mischievous man.

They were almost to the end of the hall, and she could see the sunlight beaming in through a barred window. How they all yearned to feel the sun again..

@-misterman-@whispers@cotton---The other Elementals followed Terrance, Henri, Milo and Zayne through the corridors, there were so many, it wasn't easy to navigate. Terrance noticed how everyone seemed to be following his lead, it put some pressure on making the decision of which way to go."This way." He said, putting his faith in the fact that the door must be close to the wall with the window on it. To his surprise and delight, the door was right there around the corner.Suddenly an alarm went off just as he reached to open it- it was locked. "No. No no no! NO NO NO NO NO!" Terrance tried to slam himself against the door to break it, but it must have been made to withstand things just like their cells. He felt as though the flame of hope that he had just held a moment ago burned out. Other Overseers rushed down the hallway after them, this was it."We lost," Terrance said in disappointment, "we'll never leave this place..." Just when he said that, he noticed something he should have seen before. It was a lock system just like the ones on their cells. They must not have expected escapees to have managed to steal anything from an Overseer! "C-Card key!" Terrance could barely get out, holding out his hand behind him.

Pushing the door open as fast as he could, Zayne walked through and turned to the group. "Quickly, I'll freeze the door shut behind us to buy some more time!"

@-misterman-@cotton@whispers ---Everyone piled out of the lab as fast as they could, some of those in the back using long range abilities to stall the Overseers as much as they could.As Terrance helped Henri out, the late afternoon sun shone on the two. It felt so warm- Terrance found himself glad that it wasn't nighttime, even though it would be harder to escape in broad daylight."We aren't free yet," he said, looking north down the long empty road ahead of them, "the battle for freedom has just begun."

"We have to make a stand, but first we need to run as far as possible. There's nothing besides empty fields of dead grass out here but we're at a huge disadvantage here at the lab."

He wanted to make sure Henri wasn't thinking on staying behind, even if she was slowing them down a little. Chances of succeeding were slim, but Terrance was ready to risk his life for this chance of freedom.

@takatheeducatedkid---"Okay." Henri responded, looking at her shoes as they walked. In the back of her mind, she knew that her injury was affecting the group and it was bringing her down. They had to keep walking, though. If she left, she knew Terrance would go after her and that could bring him to harm. She wouldn't let that happen.

"Ok, I think I bought us at least thirty minutes." he said as he caught up to Terrance, Henri, and Milo. "So where do we go from here?" Zayne asked the group, "we don't exactly have all the time in the world to decide, either."

@-misterman- @cotton @takatheeducatedkid Milo shot a quick glance at Zayne, then he shrugged his sholders. "Beats me, I bet Terrance and Henri know more about this place than we do." Then, looking at the other Elementals, realized how bad of a shape Henri was in. "Maybe we should find somewhere to fix up Henri, we don't want that broken rib to puncture her lung."

"But, we do need to find a place to hide, even though it's all farmland around here. We just need to go as far as possible. If we can find some woods, that should help us a lot, but first we need to go the opposite direction of where the Overseers think we're going."It took a second for Henri to realize that they would die without food or water. That was another priority.

"If that rib rips open your lung, it'll probably kill you." Then all form of joy left his face. He took a deep sigh. "At least, once we are far away enough from the Overseers, can we fix up that rib of yours?"Milo seemed utterly concerned on the outside. Internally though, he was a nervous trainwreck. He wasn't the type for surviving out in the wilderness. There was a higher chance of him going insane from his complete helplessness than Henri going into a worse situation.

And it's not going to happen," she replied. "I don't know how you're going to fix it, but the sooner, the better; although, it's going to be a while before we can slow down... The Overseers will search for us until they find us."The further the group walked, the more Henri had to depend on Terrance to help her get along. She hated being the burden on the Elementals' shoulders. This wasn't going to work out the way they had planned, and it was her fault.

@cotton @-misterman- @takatheeducatedkid Milo gave Henri a stern look. "With all that moving around you have a higher chance of it happening! We could at least prevent it from getting worse if we could get someone to chance the angle in which the broken rib is pointing in." He deeply huffed, and continued to walk with the group. But he grew sick to his stomach, stressing so much about how he had scared her. Made her think that she is going to die. He shouldn't be putting stress on Henri since she's already injured.He began to walk slower until he came to a halt. He watched as the rest of the group began to walk ahead, and he stood underneath a bright beam of early morning sunshine. He chose to photosynthesize, so he could help the rest of his weakened group if necessary.

Because no, I'm not! You don't have to be rude, I'm just doing my best! Please, stop!" Henri responded agitatedly. All of this mess was freaking her out. She was already feeling remorse over the subject, and she didn't need anyone else telling her what to do.

"This won't work," he said, seeing how far behind the rest of the group they were, "there is something we can do." he said thoughtfully. Terrance picked up Henri off the ground and carried her, teleporting a ways until they had caught up to the group. "Problem solved." he said with a smile."Hey, that lady is injured right?" a girl from the group of Elementals pushed her way to Terrance and Henri. She had long blonde hair and blue eyes. "I can heal her, but not while we're moving. I'm Cecilia by the way, people call me Ce."This girl's sudden introduction caught Terrance off guard and he almost dropped Henri, but he was glad to hear she could be healed by someone in the group. "I understand," he answered, "thank you, I'm Terrance, and this is Henri.""I should be thanking you," Cecilia replied with a small smile, "Terrance, Henrietta." she was referring to the breakout.Someone next to Zayne, a sort of spindly man with messy brown hair and brown eyes, sighed and looked back in Milo's direction. "Somethings not right," he said in a shaky voice, "they didn't get here yet. And what's with that guy staying behind? Isn't something going to happen to him?" The man seemed paranoid as anything, and his voice was very annoying, though it might not be if it wasn't for the fact that he was so nervous.
