@jupiter_hollowOh alright then, a short summary it is. D| But you have to read it later to understand certain things.An important guy came and looked everyone over and he saw Terrance and Henri acting suspicious so he's interrogating them(sort of) in another room. At the moment, the others are in their cells, unattended.

But don't you agree that if you were locked up in a tiny cell all day, every day, you would like to get out? We wouldn't have to fantasize about escaping if you let us go. I don't intend to be rude, but all of us grow more bored every day." Henri replied. She wanted to unscrew the cap of her water bottle, throw it at Maxwell's face and escape, leaving a path of destruction in her wake. However, there were too many guards and Henri's ability wouldn't help her in fighting unless there was some sort of venomous spider that she could persuade to bite them.

@cotton---"Yes, well, It's unfortunate that no one has time to entertain you," Maxwell started, "but-" just then, Steven entered the room and whispered something into his ear. "Inform Marcus and Alice that they are to go after him, Drake can't be that hard to catch, can he?" Maxwell replied, in a low, angered tone. He stood up and looked to Terrance and Henri. "From now on, you'll be under extra attention." with that, he left the room and went swiftly off down the hallway, yelling to another Overseer to come help Steven escort the two back to their cells.A man entered the room in a cheerful manner. "Hello," he said, "you needed another escort?" The man had short blonde hair that was spiked at the front and had blue eyes, he was slightly taller than the others. "The name's Don." he stated with an odd grin.

@takatheeducatedkid---"Hello, Don." Henri stated, giving the man a strange look. She had never seen a person who worked at the lab smile before. She glanced at Terrance, making a face at him that should translate into "What the heck?"

@cotton---Terrance returned the confused look as Steven and Don escorted the two back into the room filled with cells, gaining the attention of everyone as they came through the door. The whole ordeal wasn't something the Elementals saw every day. You could say it was a bit of excitement for them."Back in your cells you two." Steven said monotonously, prodding Terrance then Henri toward the small cells once again. Don gave a loud, sudden laugh. "What's so funny?" Steven asked, slightly annoyed at Don's personality. It was obvious he disliked working with him."Oh, nothing," Don answered, "why don't you lighten up and make some friends for a change?" he added. Steven tried his best to ignore him.

Milo woke up from his subtle state once Terrence and Henri entered the room. Curious, as to why they had both gone at the same time, he decided to ask."What do you guys do in there that takes two people?" He stumbled upon the thought. "Is it a new test?"

@whispers---"There were just some questions we had for them. Why, you want to be next?" Steven asked in an ornery tone.Don poked Steven's shoulder to see how he would react. "Will you quit it? You're like a two year old!" he snapped."And you're like an eighty year old, cantankerous and boring. I bet you scare kids off the lawn out front in your free time." Don answered, pulling out a silver pistol and examining it."Put that away, you'll hurt yourself." Steven murmured.

@takatheeducatedkid @whispers---Thoroughly confused, Henri stared at Don. This man was a giant five year old! What was he doing in the lab?She scooted up against the back of her cell and sat down crisscross style with her arms crossed, watching the scene unfold in front of them with a mild curiousity. She knew that everyone in the room was hoping Don would shoot Steven in the face.---Edit: HOLY CARP I JUST REALIZED THAT MAXWELL IS MAXIMILLIAN

@cotton You only just realized? He thinks his name to himself in an earlier post. xD---"I'm not that stupid, Steven." Don said in a more serious tone. He began fiddling with the gun in his hand, pulling out a neon blue scope from inside the top of it and twisting it into place."What kind of gun is that anyway?" Steven asked, unable to contain his curiosity."Just something I've been working on," Don answered, "in my free time."Steven was surprised, "You design guns in your free time?""Well, not usually but yes," Don replied, sliding the scope back into the top of the gun and putting it away, "it's for a special occasion, you see."Terrance thought hard. Who was this Drake person that Maxwell spoke of and why was he trying to catch him? Perhaps Drake was the one who broke the other Elementals out of that lab he'd heard about. He looked at Henri to see if she was as ready as he was to make an escape at the next opportunity.He knew if they were going to break out, they needed to do it before something happened to tighten security any farther.

@takatheeducatedkid---Henri saw Terrance looking at her and gave him a hand signal telling him she was ready to leave when he was.She wasn't totally sure how they were going to escape, but she figured Terrance would create a distraction of some sort. Hopefully they would be able to grab some of the other prisoners in the process.---//ooc Sorry my posts are so short, but you're the one controlling our escape so they should get much longer once the characters start to get out 😊

@cotton---Wild ideas ran through Terrance's mind. He wanted to free the others- especially Henri, but how would he get them to open his cell without waiting for the next test? There was also the fact that Don was here too, though Don seemed friendly enough, he was also an Overseer. He wouldn't just let them escape, and one person couldn't take on two Overseers.Terrance sighed, it seemed hopeless. Perhaps the best thing to do was wait, being hasty would only hurt the entire plan.

@takatheeducatedkid---Henri waited for the signal from Terrance to get ready. She couldn't help noticing a tiny mosquito crawling on the ceiling above Steven's head. This was perfect.She knew how to get one of the Overseers to open her cell; however, Terrance might want his opened. It didn't really matter though. When Steven and Don had their heads turned, Henri mouthed to Terrance, "I know how to open one. Mine or yours? If yours, you have to point at Steven's ear when he's looking at you." It sounded strange, but Henri would command the mosquito to fly straight into Steven's ear. Even though this would be her doing, if Terrance wanted his cell open first, Steven would think it was Terrance who made the insect fly in his ear. It wouldn't be a big deal until it bit the inside of Steven's ear. That would upset him and he would be sure to open the cell of whoever 'caused' the problem.

I'm reading through everything, and I'm kinda confused about what just happened xD -Milo just stared into space as Henri and Terrence mouthed words to on another. He could watch their mouths to figure it out, but he didn't feel like it. He just assumed it was about their test earlier that day.//Sorry that was the worst post ever xD

@whispers I'm sorry it sounds so confusing, but our characters aren't really supposed to understand what is happening yet.@cotton ---Terrance was skeptical, would Steven really open the cell in anger over a mosquito? Not likely. "Bad idea." he mouthed back. That's when he realized he'd overlooked one of the easiest possible solutions. A smile crept across his face as he stood up."I have to go to the bathroom." he said in a convincing voice, tapping his foot in a sort of impatient manner.Steven sighed and walked over to his cell. "Let's get this over with." he said. He didn't trust Don with the job, feeling as though if Terrance attempted to escape, he would be more efficient at stopping him.

@cotton@whispers @-misterman----Steven walked behind Terrance as they went down to the door at the opposite side of the room and exited through it into yet another hallway, to the right at the end was the bathroom. The fact that Terrance actually had to go made his act very convincing."I'll be back in a sec." he said somewhat urgently, going inside.Steven leaned against the wall and waited for Terrance to come out.

@takatheeducatedkid---Henri bit her bottom lip as she waited for something to happen. It was impossible for her to know what Terrace was going to do, and she was almost sure that Steven would suspect something. She itched to get out and breathe fresh air. To feel the sun on her face. It had been months since she had seen the outdoors and it was only to get into a car that transported the Elementals to another lab. Henri's eyes had dulled over the years, as well as her skin. The lack of sunlight had taken a toll on all of the Elementals.

As Terrance was let out to visit the restroom, Zayne turned to Henri and mouthed, "does Terrance have a plan... or does he really only need to go?" He was starting to get very impatient, knowing that Terrance had something in mind made it impossible to sit still. Thoughts of what he would do if they ever broke out filled Zayne's head.

@takatheeducatedkid@-misterman----Zayne mouthed something to Henri, and she squirmed anxiously as she awaited Terrance's arrival."Plan," Henri mouthed back, her lips barely parting in fear that Don would catch onto the idea. He seemed distracted, though, as he stared into empty space.

@-misterman-@cotton@whispers ---Terrance took a deep breath and readied himself to make an attempt when he got out. He had to be sure he was prepared to do this.Opening the bathroom door, he marched out as he usually would, hoping Steven wouldn't notice how nervous he was. Terrance looked back to get a good look at the area behind Steven and quickly teleported to the area, wrapping his arm around Steven's neck and using his free hand to try and grab the card key from his pocket.Steven gasped for air, grabbing at Terrance's arm in attempt to free himself.---Don snapped out of his deep thinking and looked toward the door that Steven and Terrance had exited through. "They've been gone a while," he said, "it can't take that long to go to the bathroom can it?"

@takatheeducatedkid@whispers@-misterman----It came to Henri's attention that Don was starting to realize that Terrance and Steven's absence had gone a little overtime. To distract him from running away, she concentrated her thoughts on that tiny mosquito that was still flitting around the room.She eventually got it to start biting Dean as much as possible, hoping that it would distract him for just a little while longer.

@cotton Who's Dean? xD@-misterman-@whispers---"What the-" Don smacked the mosquito and killed it after it bit him about two or three times, then noticed Henri staring at him. "What are you looking at?" he asked. Soon after he realized this was her doing to create a distraction.---Terrance let go of Steven as he bolted for the door, card key in hand. Steven stumbled a bit, catching his breath before charging after him.Terrance knew he didn't have much time. As he crashed through the door, he immediately ran to Henri's cell and swiped the card key through the lock, setting her free.As Don saw this he lunged forward, pulling a metal bar from his belt and formed it into a sword in an instant, slashing quickly at Terrance, who teleported to and unlocked Zayne's cell then Milo's as Steven managed to catch up with a very angry look on his face.
