Sharkout and I are working on a Pokemon-like game, but instead of Pokemon, you fight with the elements of the periodic table.

If this gets to a point where you can actually play it, you could bring it in to science class and maybe convince your teacher to let everyone play it during class instead of doing classwork! 😃

We would like help coming up with attacks for some of the elements, as well as new elements (with attacks) and new reactions. 😃

What we have so far:

Element Cards:
Element - Move (Description)
Hydrogen - Explosive (hurts target 6 AH, hurts self 2 AH, hurts all others 3 AH), Dodge (roll a die. If 5 or 6, no damage taken.)
Carbon - Diamond Hard (All attacks against Carbon for the next two rounds are weakened by 2.), Flaming Coal (Hurts target 2 AH. For next two rounds, target loses 1 AH per round.)
Oxygen - Dodge (roll a die. If 5 or 6, no damage taken.), Wind (Look at your opponents hand. Return one card to their deck.) (needs attack)
Sodium - (needs attack)
Chlorine - Dodge (roll a die. If 5 or 6, no damage taken.) (needs attack)
Iron - Smash (Hurts target 4 AH), Magnetism (Blindly draw 1 card from opponents deck)
Titanium - Smash (Hurts target 7 AH)
Silver - Distraction (Target cannot be played the next round. Ooh, shiny!), Untouchable (When in play, all of the opponents attacks are 1 AH damage weaker.) (needs attack)
Gold - Distraction (Target cannot be played the next round. Ooh, shiny!), Shock (Hurts target 3 AH), Untouchable (When in play, all of the opponents attacks are 2 AH damage weaker.)
Nitrogen - (needs attack)
(35 Atom Health each)

Reaction Cards:
Name: Formula
Water: H2O
Rust: Fe2O3
Salt: NaCl
Carbon Dioxide: CO2
Methane: CH4
Hydrochloric Acid: HCl
Sodium Hydroxide: NaOH
Iron Carbonate: FeCO3
Ethanol: C2H5OH
Sodium Oxide: Na2O
Glucose: C6H12O6
Sucrose: C12H22O11
Iron Chloride: FeCl2
Lye: NaOH
Ammonia: NH3
Sodium Nitride: Na3N
Ammonium Oxide: N2H8O

Special Cards:
Atom Replenishment: +4 atoms of any element(s) currently in play.
Radioactivity: One of the elements in opponent's set in play becomes a radioactive isotope of its element. Every turn, 1 AH decays away from its health for the remainder of the game.

@purrclan

Seems cool. I'd love to do it, but I suck at stuff like this. Short term memory doesn't help. DX

It's cool though. It'd make class way more fun. ^^

@purrclan I would love to help. XD But... I'm really tired right now. And the wall of scientific text is too dense for me to read.. .__. Um, explain it in a simplier way? Do you have a point of the game yet?

@ems

xD This is the simple definition of the game.

Use your element's powers to BEAT THE HECK out of the opponent's elements. xD

Purrclan will explain it better soon. 😋

@jix
Yep! 😃
You can keep an eye on this if you want, that way you could bring it into class when it was done even if you didn't work on it 😋
Also, it's fine 😋

@ems
Example:
I have an Oxygen. You have a Hydrogen. It's my move.
I play my Water reaction card! My Oxygen loses 1 AH (Atom Health - health bar thingy. You would keep track of it on paper or something. 😋) and your Hydrogen loses 2 AH.
Your turn. You play Explosion! My Oxygen loses 5 AH, and your Hydrogen loses 2 AH.
Now, my Oxygen has 24 AH left, and your Hydrogen has 26 AH left. We keep playing until one of our elements dies. 😋

@purrclan Sounds cool... It's too complicated for my simple mind though. XD I understand elements and such, but most of this was lost on me. ^-^"

It's like Pokemon, with attacks and stuff. 😋

@purrclan oxygen-wind:return one element on your opponent's side of the field to the hand?
Maybe also add cobalt or copper?

This sounds cool. I'm going to be following it and try to think of something good.

@srx2002

That's a good idea! When purrclan gets on I'll ask her if we can put it in. 😊

@gabrieltaft

Please do! 😃

@sharkout @purrclan nitrogen-tackle hurts 7ah does 3ah to itself
How about n2o as a formula?

@srx2002

That's a good one! 😃 Adding! But why would Nitrogen have "Tackle"? 😋

Just to make an attack.but n2o boosters have speed to "tackle" @sharkout

But why would nitrogen have 'tackle'? This is based on their properties. 😋

@srx2002

That is already in with "Distraction." What we really need are some attacks for them.
