Ky looked at Jason and tried not to laugh. "You're joking... Right?" He didn't want to laugh until he knew that it was a joke. His straight face wavered, and he barely could keep the laughter from bursting out of him.

"Well duh. What, am I that gorgeous?" He started laughing, then quickly looked himself over to make sure he wasn't wearing anything that implied that he was trying to look that way.

Jason also started laughing, a loud obnoxious sound compared to most people almost causing him to choke on his candy.

Mariel stood there, hands on hips, barely holding on to her own laughter. "Excuse me?" She said, "are you implying that I'm less gorgeous than both of you? I think not." She flipped her hair back. "I am the most beautiful person in the world."

Ky rolled his eyes, standing with a flourish and striking a dramatic pose. "More gorgeous than--" he flipping his hair "--this!?" He tried to stifle his laughter.

Ky couldn't keep from laughing anymore, and heaved with giggles, sitting on the park bench to keep from falling. "Oh geez...." He hiccuped. "Oh gosh guys... Was I a joker?" Ky didn't know. He seemed to awfully quiet to be one...

Mariel snorted at Jason's retort. "Obviously," she stated, "I'm prettier than him. See these eyes?" She flipped her hair out of her face for emphasis and opened her eyes wide. The colors in them were more livid because of her laughter, and the golden specks seemed to dance. Mariel heard Ky though, and inclined her head towards him. "I don't think anyone knows, much less you." she said. "Now is a chance for all of us to start over."

"Wasn't it always." Mariel agreed. She perched on the edge of the bench, and popped another Icebreaker into her mouth. "But now," she stated, "it's something more. All three of us have some kind of amnesia, and I doubt that we can just go back to living normally, whatever normal is anyways."

Ky smiled vaguely. "Yeah, I suppose so..." He felt the quiet take over again as he finished his Icebreaker. "It'd be nice to remember what normal was... I guess this is much more fun than normal though. Whatever it was." He stretched his arms. "I feel like I'm late for something... You guys think I had a job?"

Mariel patted Ky's shoulder. "There there," she said, "there's not much we can do about it. Maybe you have some documents or something at home you can take a peek at?" Now that Mariel thought about it, that actually sounded like a good idea. She should've done that a long time ago. "Maybe that'll help.."

"Hmmm... I doubt it." Ky chuckled. "Geez, you'd think you'd have someone to tell you something--anything... But of course, it isn't that easy." He pursed his lips. "Naw, that's just he movies."

Standing, Ky smiled a bit. "Come on though; enough with that silly stuff. Let's try to have fun rather than dwelling on what we can't change."

Jason looked at Mariel, then said, "Nah, I think you were just a hobo." He said, a innocent smile plastered to his face.
He then followed Ky's lead and got up from the ground.

Absentmindedly, Mariel fingered a lock of her hair, letting the rest of her hair fall forwards as she frowned in concentration, trying to remember something, anything, before this day, to no avail. She gave up. "Fun sounds good," Mariel said tentatively, still perched on the edge of the bench, "where?"

"I think I saw it on my way here!" Jason said excitedly, remembering the brightly lit place that he had passed by, deciding not to investigate what it was due to the horrifying sounding screams that came from within.

"Show me!" Mariel said excitedly, "I haven't been to an amusement park in such a long time!" At least, she thought so. Her memories were blurred and nothing came out. But, needless to say, she was excited to visit the park.
