@hedwig68
I can't say how we should start off, as I can't decide for you, but I think that we should introduce your character.

@linpug @ladybugheart This work?

Appearance: Tall and muscular, lean body and well-built chest, but otherwise slim, with a healthy tan. Bright red hair in a neat buzz cut, light brown eyes resembling caramel. Wears mostly black. A tattoo of a golden star on hiss houlder and two piercings on his left ear. Looks punk-ish.

@linpug
Wait, I'm confused. D: Are we starting where we left off, or just starting over again...? You told Hedwig to start however she wanted, but that could mean that we have some people starting where we left off on the other thread, and some people starting completely over...

@ems They said we can start off wherever I think we're starting off anew, actually. I think it's better since we can change things that we didn't like =)

I'll repost what I said earlier, if this clears anything up. 😊

When people first start roleplaying, they usually give their character an introduction and set the stage for the roleplay rather than start in the action. Though the chain of events will ultimately continue, not everything will be exactly the same due to this.

In addition, parts of the plot have changed, potentially affecting the story. And of course, not everyone has a place they left off at.

Although "the chain of events will ultimately continue," users don't have to roleplay at a specific point in the story.

@jupiter_hollow
I think the form is fine as long as it's under 300 characters. ^^

@linpug The appearance right now is a little under 300 characters. The original is about 700... o-o Just take the shortened version, will you? xD

@ladybugheart 's not how it always goes, y'know. ^^ I usuay introduce the scene, then the chaarcter and then start with action, but sometimes, I start directly with the action. It varies depending on the person. Shouldn't really hinder our roleplaying. And I'll be starting anew if you don't mind. 😊

@linpug Then why bother telling me that about the form? xD You're interesting 😋 Weird, but interesting ^^

@jupiter_hollow

I use in medias res as well, perhaps even more often than not. xD However, this isn't what I'm referring to. By "starting in the action," I mean having the first post in the roleplay being something along the lines of, "She dodged the fireball."

Perhaps in the previous roleplay, the character was battling a NightMare, who then shot a ball of fire at her. There would be previous posts to show what's going on. However, in a new roleplay, there's nothing of the sort. 😉

Along with this, it's also the roleplay itself that won't really be starting in the action, as Linpug just clarified to me.

Feel free to start wherever you want, though keep in mind at previous events from the old roleplay still apply. 😊

@ladybugheart Completely confused here. You informed us that some things from the previous roleplay action will have changed, but didn't specify what. It will be a load easier to either tell us that or we start anew. It will actually give us a chance to redo things... make them better, y'know. And besides, I doubt anyone would mind that. Let's ask.

@hedwig68
@rushingwater
@ems
Would you guys mind if the RP started anew?

@jupiter_hollow
I can't say for sure how this roleplay is going to be different or change the way the roleplay will begin. I'd advise referring to Linpug if you have any requests or concerns regarding this topic, as I can only clarify what she's already decided. 😉

@jupiter_hollow
Well, you would have to ask her yourself. ^^

As ladybugheart said, please refer to me for any questions or concerns. :] I would love to help! 😊

(To clarify, I will be making these decisions, as I am the owner of the roleplay. However, any questions about the storyline itself can be directed to ladybug)

@jupiter_holLOW
We've already clarified how it will start. 😊 I believe we discussed this on the first page as well.

Ladybug's post explains it well:

When people first start roleplaying, they usually give their character an introduction and set the stage for the roleplay rather than start in the action. Though the chain of events will ultimately continue, not everything will be exactly the same due to this.

In addition, parts of the plot have changed, potentially affecting the story. And of course, not everyone has a place they left off at.

Although "the chain of events will ultimately continue," users don't have to roleplay at a specific point in the story.

EditL I wish someone would post. ^^

@linpug If someone actually started at another point of events at the story that involved our characters - if someone continues the chain of events previously set and others start from the beginning the RP will be a mess.

Rushingwater is not in this roleplay any more. If your going to ping someone, please ping marinalily. 😊

You are also supposed to identify your characters at the beginning of each post, /as stated by the rules/.
