Okay then. Since it seems people are favoring the idea of restarting, we'll do so.

PLEASE DISREGARD PREVIOUS INFORMATION REGARDING HOW WE ARE STARTING THE ROLEPLAY, AS IT MAY BE MISLEADING. WE WILL BE STARTING BRAND NEW, AND THE EVENTS FROM THE PREVIOUS ROLEPLAY WILL NOT CONTINUE.

As specified earlier in the setting, many DreamWalkers tend to be around "a fictional town around the East Coast of America." If you haven't specified that your character is somewhere else, this is the default setting.

If your character is somewhere else, some things won't apply to them. When figuring out the time and season, keep in mind that the following times are in EST and seasons are in the northern hemisphere. For characters who do live here, this is how the roleplay will begin.

The roleplay will start out just before 11:00 on a Saturday. It's winter with snow on the ground. Cumulonimbus clouds cover the entire sky, and although they are currently harmless, a storm is coming.

Zac Ford (my character) found the addresses of every DreamWalker (not including NightMares) he knew of in the area after watching them closely. He sent each one a letter that they will receive today.

The message says:

"Please meet at the Leuvleu Cafe at 11:00 on Saturday."

The Leuvleu is a well-known, fancy cafe around the area.

@linpug ... I agree with Jupe, it's kind of pointless for peeps with one character, and we didn't do this in the old one. Just saying. I'll go with it if you want me to, but if I forget a couple of times, don't blame me. XD I'm forgetful.

I read through roleplays a lot to see if I want to join. Usually, I have no idea which user is roleplaying which character(s), even after reading through several pages. When users identify their characters at the beginning of each post, though, I can keep track of everyone easily. ^^

Besides, there are no downsides to it. Unless it's really that difficult to write a name at the beginning of each post. 😋

@jupiter_hollow I'm not sure what you're saying in that last post. 😊

Background: He was born as a only child. His mother died in a car accident when he was just 6 years old, so he grew up very close to his father. After Andrew became a NightMare after having to kill somebody because he was trapped in a dream, his father, being a DreamWalker, left him, not wanting to battle his own beloved son. He was only 16 at that time, so he grew up a few months by himself, collecting money from doing jobs at the same time he went to school. He managed to keep his alliance a secret, fearing he might make enemies. But Andrew eventually got used to having many enemies.
Personality: Bitter and cold around strangers and Dream Walkers. He usually has a hard time making new friends, so he is always lonely. Although he is very kind and loyal around his friends and will do anything to protect them from harm. He can trick others and it takes a long time to gain his trust, but once you have it, he is maybe the best friend you can ever have.
Appearance: Short and wavy very black hair with cold dark green eyes that always seem to shine. Tall and strong and usually wears jeans and t-shirts.
Ability: Has the ability to summon a black wolf to his command, but only for two hours everyday.

Is it alright if Clive gets a letter, since he is a NightMare that helps DreamWalkers? If not, that's alright, it'll just be a bunch of eh that he got or something.

Background: Ethan and his younger sister Autumn both caught the disease and began dreamwalking together to try to find Nightmares. Autumn went out on her own while Ethan was sick and didn't tell him where she was going and became trapped in a dream. Ethan found her unconscious in a park and has since been trying to find the person whose dream she is trapped in.
Ability: Ethan is able to shape-shift, but cannot become anything smaller than a house cat or larger than a bear.
