This is not loading fir Safari. Right now I am on Internet Explorer, and it works. Any idea why?

P.S. I hope nobody else made a topic for this so far.

@jemmie
Is your JavaScript Up to date?
Do you have the latest version of Safari?

I downloaded and installed Safari and tried going on Egg Cave. I had no problems doing this.

Do it say anything like "Server not responding" or anything?
Sometimes it can be your internet connection rather than Egg Cave.

Can you let me know what is happening now?

If it still won't work, you might consider downloading Firefox.

Firefox is free and works really great.

@shelby @newlife
It's working now, but very slow. And it's ONLY Eggcave.

@jemmie
Have you tried clearing your Cache + Form & Search History + Browsing & Download History?
Sometimes that can help speed up your browser.

@jemmie

I have the SAME exact problem! Seriously it took me like, twenty minutes to get here. Dx

Random question though, have any of you recently updated your flash player? Because since I did that myself it seems a lot of things are having problems.

EDIT: I also tried Firefox. Just as bad if not worse than Safari. Not sure why this is happening, but I'd really like it to be fixed, I can't feed my creatures like this. ;-;

@jemmie I'm using safari and I'm having no problems. It may be what kind of computer you're using.

It could be your connection.
If you have bad connection it can cause you to have problems.
You could also have a virus.

If you're using WiFi:
Have you tried moving to a different spot of your house?
Sometimes you could be in a spot that isn't getting good connection, causing computer lags.
You could also have a loose wire. Check all your wires and make sure everything is plugged in good.

Have you tried resetting your modem yet?
That can help.

Have you recently downloaded anything from the web?
Or visited a website that you've never visited before?
You may have accidentally downloaded a virus.
Scan for viruses. It could be a virus.

Is your browser the latest version?
Is your javascript up to date?
Have you tried clearing your Cache system yet?

Do you have the ability to use a different WiFi connection?
If yes, try. If it's still slow, it might be your computer.
If it seems better, it might be your connection/WiFi.

Do you have any programs on your computer you don't use and could uninstall?
Sometimes if you have a lot of programs on your computer, it can slow your computer down causing it not to run well.

Do you have a lot of additional tabs open or other programs running while you're trying to get on Egg Cave? Or even more than one tab open to Egg Cave?
Having more than one tab or more than one program open at a time can lag your browser/computer making it hard for certain websites to load.

@jemmie

Hi there,

As of right now, there are no known network connectivity issues at Egg Cave. The kinds of problems you're having sound a lot like networking configuration issues on your end.

Try resetting your Internet at your home (turning off your Internet router, and then turn it back on after 30 seconds), or contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) if you cannot diagnose the problem yourself.

Best,
Ian
