@ashfire I read in this one book that appaloosa isn't a breed, its a coat color. Saddlebreds are EPICO.

Some of the horse fact books are really just someone trying to act like they know horses, but really? They know nothing.

Do you guys know anyone else into horses?

& also, I had a jumping lesson with a girl today. She's coming along non too bad. But she doesn't understand it takes time and patience. She's trying to do stuff she's not ready for. Which resulted in her trying to take a jump I told her not to and her falling.

Either way. Ugh. I hate when people thinkt hey know everything. DX

I know. I don't pretend I know everything, I actually admit I don't, then I get help from people and learn it. Like you helping me with the english and western style thing.

People need to be like that.

I will go around and read peoples profiles for interests in horses and I will post this link on their walls and in mah status. I know @jennifer is into horses.

Her dad lost it on me, saying he was going to sue.

Then I had to point out that she signed a paper and he did too. I can't guarantee someone won't fall off a horse.

A real horse rider will fall many times. Because they push themselves and their horse to be better, and sometimes, you fall. I've fallen lots and I'm a very advanced rider. It happens. It's how you get better. You make mistakes and improve. O_O

And I did try and get her to not do the jump. People.


And cool! I'll keep an eye out for other horse lovers. 😃

@april__ Some people have anger issues.....

If she had broken something or been hurt, it would have been her fault for not listening to you.

You can't control whether someones going to fall off of a horse. Some people just don't understand. Sometimes, it's the riders fault, sometimes it's the horses fault, other times there's just no answer.

I'm almost cured from mah sickness!!

And no, sometimes it's unpredictable. It's almost always the rider's fault but horses can spook. Horses can be temperamental. Horses can fall. That's all true.

But in this case, it was her fault. She wasn't positioned correctly because she wasn't prepared for such an advanced jump.

😋 My favorite was a Brown and white paint with white, brown and black mane and tail named Spot. Now he's 17 and so he isn't ridden often.

@sandstorm99 To be honest, it was probably the owner. He probably got fed perfectly every day, wasn't worked hard but just enough to keep his weight good, got tons of sleep, proper medical attention and his stable was mucked out whenever needed.

All in all, he was probably cared for very VERY well and lived a long and happy life ^^
