@april__ Yes. I do Barrel Racing and Pole Weaving. I spend a lot of time with horses right now. 😊

@april__ Nice i think it's a lot of fun! Though the horse that i ride gets excited at the part where they are supposed to run home and he bucks..it makes me a little nervous since i'm still new! 😊

And everybody makes mistakes in the morning XD

@april__ That's the same for me! My life is horses and school! Some new people joined the equestrian team in which I ride and I am sort of teaching them and I work at three different barns! It's pretty hectic at times but definitely worth it. 😊

I live on a farm which is kind of a ranch now. I take people out on trail rides, and work with problem horses and the riders sometimes.


I actually just did work with this horse that would charge at his rider, but would let me ride him just fine.

It turned out that the rider was being abusive towards the horse. :/ I hate stuff like that...

@april__ I wish i was that experienced! That sounds amazing I always wanted to live on a type of ranch. Thats so cool though.

And yeah i hate it too. One of the barns i work at (this may be upsetting) adopts horses that are abused and one of the horses (Shamrock) got stabbed in the eye with a pitchfork and his back left leg beat with a bat repeatedly and he is the nicest horse i have ever met. I don't understand why people would do such a terrible thing.

It's awful. ☹️ That's kind of what we do here.

Essentially, if you've ever seen the show Heartland, that's kind of what we do here. I grew up on the ranch. However, the show... Well it has a lot of things wrong. But the basics of what she does, is what we do on the ranch.

We take in abused horses, or traumatized (from accidents and stuff) and try and help them. We can't help them all sadly. I also just work with riders that want to get more experienced in their shows and such.

That's so sad though! Horses are such lovely creatures. I hate knowing what some people do to them. ☹️

@april__ I agree.I hate animal abuse. Especially to horses, they do so much for us, we shouldn't abuse them on top of that.

But it's a really great thing that you are doing! I hope that one day i can actually be more confident around horses like you are! Keep up the good work!

@horses4eva I don't own a horse, there isn't a riding camp or anything in my town. I usually have to go to like National Parks to ride horses.

@april__ Ya, I wish I had my own horse. >.< But there is this small camp at our city, though it's just mainly riding lessons, no trail riding or stuff.
