If I went 2 like Walmart or Giant Eagle (some stores near where I live), are there giftcard things that already have Cave Cash on them??? Like the thing Club Penguin (my brother used to do that) does...? I sound like im clueless 😋

I love to idea, but I agree with redfire77, not enough people play to have the cards in stores. Maybe in the future if we get enough people, like Neopets? 😸

You can however, purchase Green Dot cards at places like Walmart and then use them on Paypal. Although the cards have a $5 fee to put money on them.

that would suck if you were buying 500 cavecash. you would pay $10 for 500, double. ☚ī¸

i think that the way we buy cave cash is fine right now. it suits the small community of eggcave. i'd say we are significantly closer knit than neopets too.

I've heard that you can get Vanilla Visa Gift Cards? They are a little tricky to get Paypal to accept, but its definitely possible to use.

I think Paypal uses the system where, to validate the card, it will take $3-5 from the card and, after anywhere from 6 hours to 2 days, it will check whether the money actually transferred. If it did, its valid and the money will be refunded.

The only problem with this is that getting CC isn't auto and users will have to plan ahead. =/

@rabbitwanter Could be the CC is actually a debit card with a CC logo on it. Why PP would not take it.

Yep and with the Greendot Cards, they also have a Mastercard to you do have to pay the fee. However you have to be verified to go over the $200 Greendot limit using the basic card. With the GreenDot Mastercard you don't have to. However you have to use it for 30 transactions to not get charged a monthly fee.

Plus, I like not having Paypal connected to my real life money it is not 100% secure. So worth the bit of fee for me. Know that is not an option for those who rely on Parents.

Easiest way to tell. Debit will be printed above the CC logo. Since Paypal only takes CC's within their guidlines it will tell you the number is invalid. Better to read what they say in their help sections

H&R Block Emerald Card is a clear example of a Debit card with a CC logo which is Mastercard. Merchants online and at retail stores view it as a Debit or even prepaid card.

Nothing online is 100% secure 😊 I rather not have Paypal connected to all my money. One of my quirks. I rather be safe than sorry 😊

I don't know. Cannot see the card and can't give any more info then was given.

Since your in the US Green Dot/Moneypak cards are sold at a lot of retail stores. Very easy to set up Paypal using that option. Maybe your Dad would be willing to help?

Good luck figuring it out 😊
