Creature suggestion--Calmei

It's name is a mix between the Japanese word for illumination--Shomei--and the Latin word for Mist--Caligo.

Egg:
This egg has a vague look of iridescence. It appears to be emanating a glowing aura.

Description:
Despite its shiny appearance, the Calmei actually has the finest fur in Ark, and as such was hunted to near extinction. But for some unknown reason, its populations are gradually rising.
The Calmei emanates a glowing, almost ghostly aura. This gives it an almost spectral appearance, and this recent development in its genes may be the cause for its increasing populations--it frightens most to the point that they avoid it.
On its chest, the Calmei bears a circle that changes depending on the moon's stage. The fuller the moon, the slighter the glow they give off. The jewel on their head is also affected by this, losing its luster when the moon is full and glowing when it is not. On the night of a lunar eclipse, they seem to take the moon's power for their own and glow radiantly until the Earth's shadow moves off of the moon, causing the Calmei's "mist" to dwindle.
Its fur, like a crows feather, bears somewhat of an iridescent quality, but the only colour that it reflects in is the deep blue of the night sky.
Calmei are nocturnal beings that don't take kindly to disturbances in their daily slumber.

I don't really care what this gets used for, but I would rather it not go in the cave. :/

Ooh very nice! It sure has this mysterious aura around it too! I really like the faint blue glow manifesting around it as it evolves in later stages! 😊

One question though, is the black hole on its chest in its third form part of the design or is it just some random black hole?

It represents the Earth's shadow covering the moon. The last stage is the Eclipse stage.
