Train Murder Mystery

Sunderland, U.K.
17th of the 8th 1874.

You are on a train travelling to London. It is a time where the rich are powerful. There is a conference going on in London, where the richest of the rich are meeting to discuss how to rule this country. It takes place in approximately two weeks.
There are powerful people on this train.
Of course, not everyone is rich, and not everyone is rich enough to have a large influence. Some people on this train are just going down for a holiday, while others are looking for work.
The train is called the London Express. It has 5 carriages.
1: staff only/control panel
2: 1st class rooms
3: 1st class seating area
4: Restaurant
5: 2nd class area.
The train is magnificent on the outside and on the inside, with red and gold being its prime colours. The floors are plush carpets of a wine colour, the same colour as the soft chairs and beds of the first class carriages. It seems to sparkle, being very well kept by the maids.
The second class carriage, on the other hand, is in shambled. A mix of brown and grey colours seem to hang in the air, along with the stench of cigarettes, which seems to be soaked into every single piece of furniture in the area. Instead of the fine food to be served to those who can afford it, the people in second class get a serving of gruel in the morning and soup in the evening for a much cheaper price. The maids hardly go near the place.

Personality:Victor is an energetic,hyper and happy guy but sometimes a bit too happy. He behaves like a child and has too many toys. He'd much rather spend time playing with toys then talking to adults. Though he is happy and nice and energetic he's a little on the creepy side. The only thing that gets him angry is noise. Noise is his biggest pet peeve. Other then that he is a pretty nice person. I forgot to mention he is quiet posh. Alway using fancy words.
Appearance:Victor is about 6 foot 7 and has a lanky figure. He has very long and skinny fingers. His hair is a mixture of grey and white that spikes up a bit. His eyes are very big eyes and are a yellowy orange colour with tiny pupils and under them are dark rings due to lack of sleep. His skin tone is a grey colour as well from not going outside. He has a huge smile with nice white teeth. He wears a wine conductors uniform with golden buttons.

Name: Katia An Barde
Age: 14
Gender: Girl
Class: 1st
Personality: Katia is quite spoilt, being the youngest child in her rich family. She lives with her father and brother in a manor on a hill, with a lovely garden and a huge library. She doesn't have much of a life, as most of the time she just stays in her room and reads. She reads all the time, never caring what book it is. To her, no book can be called boring. All she cares for is literacy. Because of how much she reads, she is incredibly clever and quite witty. Being so protected all her life makes her very vulnerable if she was to go out by herself though, as she has no street smarts at all. She can tell when something seems dangerous though, as it's simply natural human instinct. Katia loves being pampered and spoiled, she loves wearing frilly dresses and watching as all the adults melt and ask her what age she is. She loves how she can pretend she's younger than she actually is and get many things by manipulating people with her cuteness.
She may be able to read books, but she can't read people and can be incredibly insensitive at times. She can be cruel, stubborn, immature and absolutely hates not getting her own way. She is very competitive and hates losing. She absolutely loves chess. She really admires her brother, who goes around in suits and top hats solving crimes. She wants to be like him. Also, being holed up in her room for so much time, she does not talk very much and is a little bit weird. Maybe even.. Crazy.

Appearance: She stands at 4"7, which is pretty short for someone her age. She's very petite, and uses it mostly to her advantage, standing and acting in ways that make her appear smaller than she actually is, in all senses of the word. Her skin is really pale from being in her room the whole time. She has pin straight raven black hair that goes to about her waist. She also has a fringe that goes straight across her large eyes, which seem to have shades of purple from indigo to violet mixed around in them. Her fringe tends to frame her soft features. This, along with her large eyes and petite frame makes quite a lot of people think of her as incredibly cute, especially since her father likes to dress her up in little frilly dresses, her favourite being a pale shade of lilac with white frills, along with the same colour gloves and socks, with darker purple platform boots.
Reason for boarding the train: Her dad has to make it to the conference in London. Being an only father, it was only natural to bring along his children.
Other: Katia is kinda psychopathic at times, having a strange obsession with blood and corpses. She really likes mystery novels. RTR

Personality: Hannae is creative and kind, towards most that is. Feeling more in-place in second class, she has somewhat of a grudge against first class. Hannae knows her way around things and could rob you blind if she felt like it, often times, lazy and 'un-proper' are used to describe her.
Appearance: Hannae walks with her head held and stands at a height of 5'6. She's rather thin but caries a curved figure, Hannae has a thick head of often messy black hair, cut down to a pixie to remain managable. Her green eyes are somewhat bright and full of life -unlike her ghostly pale skin- and match the shade of her outfit.\Hannae wears a ruffled, black blouse with a green vest and matching skirt, though the skirt is often replaced with a set of slacks and her blouse replaced with a knick shirt, her rebelious spirit adoring being able to rub her uncle wrong.
Reason for boarding the train: tagging along with her 'friend' to meet up with her uncle for the confrence

Appearance: Ich wears city scrapper clothes in browns and white, his yellow-green eyes always full of joy and an enlightened grin always spread on his cracked lips. Ick is average height, standing at 5'8" but extremely thin and lankey, his hat often askew on his head of messy blonde hair.
Reason for boarding the train: 'escorting' hannae to her uncle's residence

Personality: Lainey is a quiet,moody young girl. Since she was brought up in a very poor part of England the rich make her cringe. She despises the rich or anyone who is wealthier then her and feels the need to rub it her face or make her feel worthless. She is very tidy person and tries her best to look presentable and not scruffy. Even though she hates the stuck up rich yet she at times can act stuck up herself. She is terrible with making friends or just talking to people in general and comes off as rude. Because of her rudeness she isn't good at begging for food or money. She is also irritated easily and sarcastic.
Appearance:She is a very petite girl with an innocent face. Lainey has shoulder length straight blond hair with an overgrown fringe. Her eyes are an icy shade of blue with brown around the pupil. Her skin is very peaky and pale.She wears a red and black checkered pinafore with a pair of dark denim coloured shorts. She wears brown shoes.
Reason for boarding the train: Lainey's real reason for boarding the train is because her parents died and she is being sent to a workhouse. Since not every second class citizen on the train is going to a workhouse she is just going to lie. Her fake reason that she told everyone is that she is meeting up with her aunty and uncle in London and planning on living with them for a while

Name: Anton An Barde
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Class: 1st
Personality: Anton is witty, mischievous and mysterious. He has good social skills and is easy to talk to. He's quite clever, and would make a good businessman or politician, although no one seems to like politicians.. What if no one liked him? Anton worries about this kind of thing daily. He feels that reputation is important, and is very ambitious. He's following in his father's footsteps. He loves his sister and is fiercely protective of her, seeing her, as most people do, as a child and not a young lady.
He will do whatever he can to get what he wants, and often pulls out all the stops for say, a business deal. Because of this, he often comes out unscathed in a mess. He's quite slippery and hard to catch. He's very calm and composed, seemingly not rattled by even the most traumatic things. He often likes to play detective, with sheer determination and willpower on his side, along with his extremely strong logical skills (he loves chess) and charm make him a pretty good detective. Also, things tend to just fall into his lap. But is he really that lucky? He finds it funny when Katia tags along and steals his top hat, trying to investigate. The poor thing seems to only go around in circles.
Appearance: tall and slim, Anton has curly blonde hair that comes to about his neck. His green eyes seem to glint mischievously and his face normally expresses a slight smirk along with a calm composure. He wears a black suit, along with his trusty top hat and cane which he twirls between his fingers. He exudes an aura of elegance and grace and can be very hard to read with such composure. When he flashes a smile it seems to light up his whole face and he's always focusing on something.
Reason for boarding the train: His father is attending the meeting in London and brought his children with him. Anton can't wait until he sees the heated debates of the most powerful people in England.
Other: RTR. Anton is very obsessed with winning, so obsessed that some days it takes over his very being, his soul brimming with a scary hunger for success. Success and money.

Personality:Harley is a very wealthy young woman with a terrible personality. She absolutely hates anyone poorer then her,people who don't agree with her ideas or opinion and children. The only thing she loves is the snappy spoiled little poodle that lives in her animal skin purse. She complains about the littlest of things and is way too fussy. No wonder her only companion is a dog. She isn't too faced at all. If she doesn't like something about you she'll just point it out. The only nice trait she has is honesty. She is also too lazy to lift her pampered finger tips she gets everyone to do things for her.
Appearance:Harley has brown hair down to her waist and brown eyes. She wears way too much make up. You wouldn't recognise her without it. She wears a deep purple hat with a bright pink feather,with a matching purse,boa and coat. Her coat is made out of animal fur. She doesn't wear fake fur. Underneath her heavy long coat she wears a simply white blouse with a black knee high skirt.
Reason for boarding the train: She lives in London and traveled to Sunderland to buy a new collar for her poodle.

Class: 2nd, but is able to travel freely through to 1st class, for reasons such as pickpocketing the rich.
Personality: Meilin is aggro and irritable, and hates just about everything, from the colour yellow to people who laugh too much. Her bitter hatred is hindered by nothing. She is stubborn as a mule, stuck in her ways and loves to steal. She hates humans and their disgusting ways, yet revels in being one herself, stealing from her own kind and murdering them too. She finds joy in death and likes to look at corpses faces, especially those victims to murder as their expressions are frozen in fear for the rest of eternity. She has been numb for a very long time and cannot feel anything for anyone emotionally except for hatred. It's as if she doesn't have a conscience any more. She just couldn't care less about anyone but herself. She will take all she needs to make sure she gets a warm bed and some nice food, no matter who it hurts. If someone were to take something of hers she would feel so much hatred for them, there's no telling what she could do. She does not have friends and she never will, being such a cold hateful person. Caring about someone would mean showing a weakness.
Appearance: Standing at 5'8, Meilin is lean and agile. She has obsidian black, chest length hair and dead, dark eyes. The expression on her face is the same as that on a corpse, except for the crazy grin she gets in moments of madness, with a maniacal glint in her widened eyes. Her skin is tanned and her lips are blood red. Her fingers are slim and she has long nails. She covers her hands with gloves. Normally she wears some baggy dark clothes and trousers, with knee high black boots. She plods along in quite an unladylike manner, slouching and leaning against walls, fitting in with the second class scene easily, except for when she needs to look like an aristocrat. She simply steals a few fancy garments and corrects her posture and walk, and suddenly she's a lady. It's simple.
Reason for boarding the train: There's rich people on the train and there's rich people in london, so it's a good place for pickpocketing. But mostly she just went for kicks.

Gender: Female
Class: 1st Class
Personality: Alex is a full out rebel, a rich rebel at that. She is very friendly to most, especially lower classes. She has made many friends in her own work staff, whether they are her maids, or whatever. She tries her hardest not to over work the workers, often doing stuff herself, like helping clean up or anything like that. She hates snotty people that think they are so much better than everyone else. This causes her to get some weird looks, a very rich person sometimes acting like a worker? There isn't things much weirder than that. She is known well for her witty remarks and sarcasm, she never misses a beat when it comes to that. She loves just joking around and having fun, though she is crazy stubborn, and stays strong to her beliefs. She is also not very lady like and good with her manners, though when its required she will be.
Appearance: She is very tall, standing at about 5'11" with slightly tanned skin. She has shoulder length pitch black hair that can be very unruly and wild if she doesn't spend a lot of time on it. She has natural red streaks going through it, as her mother had very dark red hair and her father's was pitch black. She has a bang that covers half her left eye at all times. She has forest green eyes with hazel in it too. She wears zero makeup and walks with an air of power. She is often wearing solid black trousers and a plain black shirt. With it she wears a simple black coat, black boat that come a couple inches above her shin, and silver bracelets on her right wrists, and a black leather necklace with a silver moon on it.
Reason for boarding the train: Her father is the richest man in California and she is the middle child of 5 kids. She knows the business better than any if her siblings so when her father fell sick Alex was forced to go to the conference in his place, and she can't help but be excited about learning more about the family business.

Name: Dylan Everest

Gender: Male
Job: Waiter
Personality: Dylan is a very soft spoken and shy boy. He was raised in a poor family and that has made him very humble and appreciative. He has been working since he was 9, always having to provide for his family. He is the oldest of his sibling, with 3 younger ones, and cares more about them than anything else in the world. He is protective over them and anyone else he really cares for. He doesn't stand up for himself, and does his work quickly and quietly. He works in all conditions, whether he is sick or not, never taking a break unless told to do so. He is overly dedicated to his work and will do anything to keep his job.
Appearance: He has shaggy brown hair that is always messy and out of place. He has black-gray eyes and a very deep tan. He is almost 6'2" and has a strong build as he used to do more physical jobs, and has only recently become a waiter. He is usually wearing dirty trousers and a white shirt with a waiter's vest and a very old dirty coat over it. He wears black shoes a size to big, they used to be his dad's. He looks older than he is but not by much, he is also trying to say some money up to pay his family's bills, sending money to them from his jobs every now and then when he has gathered enough. He usually wears a shy smile, service with a smile as some might say.
Other: He is very clumsy, able to trip over his own feet on a flat surface.

Gender: Female
Class: First Class
Personality: Violet is very reserved, almost to the point where she doesn't tell anyone anything. She's quite forgetful and loses things easily. Violet's also shown to be a hypocrite, and can be a bit too naive for her own good. She's quite shy, especially around boys her age. Violet is also shown to be quite creative, and shows up right in the nick of time. Violet's certainly an interesting young lady, that's for sure.
Appearance: Standing at 5'4, Violet's just about average, in height, weight, shoe size, everything. Her skin is very pale and she has flat black hair that goes to her waist, and is always worn in a ponytail along her back, never a bun. Her legs are really long, making up for most of her height. Violet has heterochromia in her eyes, making one eye green and the other eye blue-gray. Normally, Violet wears a brown Victorian-style with a poofy bottom and a tank-top style top, with a flower collar on her neck.

Gender: Male
Class: First, as a result of a massive surprise inheritance.
Appearance: Has deep expressive blue eyes flecked with gold. Lean and only slightly muscled, he's more angular and chiseled than anything. His hair is dirty blonde and slightly curled, he keeps it medium-longish but not shoulder length. Enjoys clothes that set off his best features, his eyes. He's at 6 feet exactly, so he's not short nor tall for a guy.
Personality: Despite being a charmer and knowing it, he's really sweet and his friendliness is almost always genuine. Can be terrible if anyone messes with his twin sister. He is always trying to help and make your day. Gentlemanly, can have a dark side. Both twins recently inherited their riches (and an estate) from deceased relatives. As a result, they know what it is like to be in all lower classes and are kind to everyone.
Reason: "Well, sister dearest.. we actually don't have to work another day in our lives! Can you believe that? Let's have an adventure!"

She has a halo of curls the same as her brother's, although hers reach her mid-back, and are slightly more golden-colored. Not plump but not skinny, she's very pretty. Beauty runs in the genes. All clothes she wears seem to look like they were made especially for her- she's that pretty.
Personality: She has a carefree act, all happy and laughing at everything, brining joy into the universe. Kind and good, it's hard NOT to trust or like her. She can see through many acts after years of watching Clive's girlfriends, and her flaw is that she believes she will always be second-rate to her brother, not that anyone knows that. She's really sweet and barely starts fights, and if she ever gets into one she'll always apologize first. Both twins recently inherited their riches (and an estate) from deceased relatives. As a result, they know what it is like to be in all lower classes and are kind to everyone.

Personality:Cameron is an intelligent young man who isn't exactly nice or mean. Cameron likes to get straight to the point. Being cunning and level headed makes him a good detective. But he never trusts anyone,no matter how good a relationship he has with you. He likes to think he's charming and great with the ladies but he really isn't. He usually doesn't attempt flirting while on the job. Cameron is wealthy but not too rich. And certainly isn't stuck up about it. He treats everyone equally.
Appearance: Cameron stands at about 6 foot 3 and is average weight. He has clear lightly tanned skin and dirty blond hair that is quite messy. He usually tucks his messy hair under his paperboy hat but a few strands always fall out onto his face. He wears a brown coat with a checkered pattern on his woolly shirt. He wears simply brown trousers.
Reason for boarding the train:He is moving to London since there are more cases to investigate over there.

Personality: Very shy and clumsy. She will do as she's told and will often apologize if she is reprimended for anything due to her strict upbringing.
Appearance: Awkwardly tall and thin with medium-length black hair and green eyes. She wears pretty, but conservative and modest clothing that is obviously handed down from her well-off older cousins.
Reason for boarding the train: Her father is sending her off to London to live with her high-society aunt in hopes that she will meet a wealthy young man through her aunt's many connections within the city.

Gender: Female, but crossdresses
Job: Coal Shoveller (or since I didn't see that under jobs, if it's not allowed, Mechanic)
Personality: A sort of misfit, Josephine never felt comfortable as a female. She's quite kind but doesn't show it to just anybody. You have to earn her trust. She can be a little too serious sometimes and needs to loosen up.She's also known to bottle up her emotions until something angers her and it's let all out.
Appearance: Josephine has a male's physique, that's for sure. She's 5'9 and weighs 130 pounds. She has short blonde hair and big green eyes. Josephine is tan and has a small nose.

Name: Lucas Caster
Age: 16
Gender: Man
Class: 2nd
Personality: Lucas is almost as wild as they come. He has a rebellious and crazy nature and a witty comeback always ready. He is highly sarcastic and has a big mouth, often getting him into trouble. He is rather mischievous and strong willed, not allowing himself to be pushed around. He has a high opinion of himself at times, thinking himself bigger and buffer than he really is. He can be sensitive at times though, not very often but sometimes so if something is really serious he will become sensitive towards others.
Appearance: Lucas is somewhat tall standing 5'11" with tan skin. He has short shaggy brown hair that is very unruly with bangs that covers his eyes which are a dark sea blue. He wears a black shirt with a brown vest also wearing brown trousers and brown shoes.
Reason for boarding the train: He was from New York but moved to England to look for a better life than the states. Then on his way for work he turns up on the train.

Name: Denis Lian
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Class: First
Personality: Calm, cool and collected. He's clever but quiet. In a fight, he would rather prefer to stay in the shadows and watch or listen rather then jump in with guns a'blazing. A bit on the arrogant side, and is an observer. Can be loud when he voices his opinion.
Appearance: Denis has blonde hair that reaches a tiny bit below his ears. He would have bangs but instead he chooses to spike it up so his hair wouldn't fall in his face. His eyes are the color of a raging storm, with grays, silvers and blues. Taller than average, with skin a tiny bit on the tan side.
Reason for boarding the train: His father David, was supposed to be in the meeting, but instead Denis is taking his place. Denis's mother is sick at the moment, so his father decided to stay home to care for her. David had also mentioned it being good for Denis to learn how meetings like that worked for future reference.
Other: He was lucky enough to be born into a family that was slowly earning a growing fortune.
