I do not understand a Tific stolen on February 1st?

I have a Tific in my care that is stolen on Feb. 1st is this possible?

It was probably stolen at the very last second ;p Like the pop up came up and the by the time you put in a name, it's the next day.

Or they weren't removed on time. The December LEs weren't removed on time. And you could still get them on the first.
