Looking for critters and prices

One thing I've noticed on this site is that people love offers, don't want under-priced offers, but have no price suggestions in mind. This makes it difficult for a new member (such as myself) to offer any trades or figure out how much to save up for a nice pet, without actually looking like a nub or trashy offer by mistake.

I figured I'd just create a thread where people could offer their creatures to ME instead of the other way around. Even if I can't afford it just now, I'll get a better understanding of prices, and if I can afford it, then we both win!

The creatures I want come in abundance, and can be found in a convenient list here:

I'll update this post with what prices I've found, mostly for my own convenience, but you're welcome to add to it, too.

Cirthark: 50-150k
Aosidhe: 100-150k
Octro: 150-200k
Lyf: 350-500k
Flaren: 1mil
Rousel: 500k-1mil
Punbunbu: 1mil
Wiset: 300k
Aerlo: 2.5mil
Cobrart: 1-2mil
Garo: 500k-1mil
Leroon: 3mil

Current nooby funds: 180k (and possible art sketches)

I don't fully get it that ya have with the prices for a Punbunda, Rousel, or Cirthark above ^^^ And most those would be an over offer also


But I have a Cirthark, Aosidhe, Octro, Lyf, and maybe a Flaren.. Some aren't evolved to the stages ya want but you could do that yourself or I could evolve them first x3

Cirthark - 2oo,ooo to 25o,oooEC
Aosidhe - 1oo,ooo to 15o,oooEC
Octro - 15o,ooo to 2oo,oooEC
Lyf - 35o,ooo to 5oo,oooEC
Flaren - not sure yet. I'll go figure that out x3

Uhm... The prices of the 3 creatures above are extremely high o_O They're overpriced.

Rousels, they go for much cheaper prices nowadays, though some still sell theirs at the price of 1mil, a lot merely sell them for a price at 500k-800k.
Cirtharks are cheap, extremely cheap, they're less than 100k ECs now @@
I'm not really sure about the Punbunbus, but I guess they would be around 1mil maximum?

Your wishlist creatures worth in ECs(in my opinions)
Aerlo - 2,5mil
Aosidhe - less than 100k
Cobrart - less than 2mil
Flaren - 1mil
Garo - less than 1mil (I got mine for 500k, but some will sell at 700k-1mil)
Leroon - 3mil
Octro - less than 300k
Wiset - depends on the stage, last stage would be less than 300k I guess!

Good luck getting the creatures you want, a couple of creatures in your wishlist such as the Frice and the Savarab can be easily found in the cave, but you'll have to raise them in order to get them to the stages you want.

It's hard to make a price list, cause it can change a lot from each user, and over that there are lot of factors, like rarity, stage, travel on it, retired or not, ecc...

So basically all you have to know is:
- Commons get value if they are hatched and/or immortal, even better if starred
- LEs and cave monthlies, endangered cretures in general gain more value the more time passes from their release/retire
- Rare creaures, CSPs and Mysterious Asteroid eggs are the higher priced, usually egg staged are the most precious ones and they can easily go for a good amount of milions EC

If you're a newbie, you have to try feed your and others coves the most you can, save ECs and try to get most recent retired eggs... More you save, the better is.
After some weeks/months, you will be able to try some better trades.

I heard an Aosidhe was worth around 800k last week...I myself would have considered it to be around 500k.

Oh wow, thanks for all that. I went off prices I saw on the trading post after searching by species, but I'm really glad that the Cithark is so cheap because I do like that thing.

In fact, I'm glad to know that so many are in the hundreds of k rather than millions, it's going to make it a lot easier to get some pretties!

Also, don't forget to feed on the 15th.
It's double/triple feed day and if you set aside some time you can easily make over 1mil in a day

Stars, they simply just... xD make your creatures more rare, that's it! 😸 It's hard to find a star creature in the cove (I personally have found any xD) therefore people will like the creature more! 😸

Yeah, that age is pretty uncommon on sites like this. ToS usually wants 13+ for legal reasons, and the younger kids tend to hang out on sites that have pre-made chat messages to protect them.

Whatever I can currently afford off my wishlist, which probably means I'll be buying up my cheaper wishes, first, but that's okay. I've got an Octro in mind from immortalraven and I just bought my Aosidhe, though it needs more views to get to the stage I want it at.

I was also given two Lissam eggs, which I'll need to level to get the two stages I like there, AND a Kappice egg as well. What a lot of critters today~ ❤️

@pirran The CRW critters probably don't go for a million, more around 250k. Since there are a lot of them. But they'll gain value over time.
Did you also want to know the prices of travels/what they go for? or just critters?

I don't know anything about travels at the moment. I got a general idea of what they do, but when I peek in the travel shop, I've got no idea what are rarer than others, or if it's worth buying them from the shop or other people.

@pirran There's a full travel list on eggcavern, but some of the travels that say common on the bottom are actually treated as rare, and some of the rare ones are thought of as common. Ill just list a few rare ones that people frequently look for:
Firestorm skies, moontops, fairywold, park bench, Bio jungles, Lakeside. There are a lot more. Have you bought any travels from the TC yet?

Whoops, I missed the notification for your post, sorry about that. Thanks for the information, I'll keep an eye out for those ones. I haven't bought any yet, but it'd be nice to earn some EC restocking for people who want specifics.

@pirran That's alright haha yeah making EC by selling travels is what a lot of users do, but there's a lot of competition between all the users selling. So I try to use Art to earn EC, but is isn't reliable at all. If you want I can send you a few travels i'm not gunna use : )
