Hello, my name is Chris! I'm the host of the world famous reality show, Total Drama! In case you've never heard of it before, Total Drama is a reality show where large numbers of competitors are pitted against one another in awesome challenges! Along the way, some people will form relationships, some will form friendships, and some will form enemy...ships! Anyway, I'm here today to audition people for the 8th season of Total Drama, Total Drama Colors! Located in a abandoned Canadian city, contestants split into 2 teams will have to face off against each other every day in a different color themed challenge. At the end of every day, everyone on the losing team will send a PM to @sstwins with the name of the person you want to vote off from your team. The person who doesn't receive a box of crayons at the Crayon ceremonies that evening must take the taxi of shame and will leave the competition, forever! And did I forget to mention that the prize for the last challenger standing is 1 million EC?!?Here's what you need to do to enter! Write an audition paragraph, including your name, age, appearance and showing off your talents in a creative way! You should also include why you should be picked as a contestant. Goof ups are welcome and encouraged! Total Drama Colors needs a minimum of 20 competitors to start. People with powers not achievable to the average human (ex. shape-shifting) will not be accepted. Only competitors from the ages 15-19 will be accepted. So make your audition tape now! And I'll meet you here again soon, for the first ever episode of Total. Drama. Colors!!~~~~~~~~~Hi! SStwins here. I just want to clear up a few things! π- This is all themed off of the TV show, Total Drama. So, if I use TV terms (ex. audition tapes instead of audition paragraphs) that's why!- If you ever get super confused, just send me a PM! I'll try to clear things up. π- After I get 20 people to sign up, the competition will start. You *have* to subscribe to this topic, because I can't ping 20 people at once. To begin, Chris will welcome everyone in one big group, show you around, and split you into 2 teams. After that, you can begin roleplaying on your own!- People who don't post at all will get kicked off at the Crayon ceremony 3 challenge days after the RP starts. Sorry, but having people who don't post can kind of ruin this type of RP!- Days on the RP aren't real days!! I'll post what time of day it is on the beginning of my posts. π- If your team loses, you *have* to vote someone off! To do this, send me a PM with the name of the player you wish to vote off. This is totally anonymous, so don't worry! NOTE: You should only vote off people based off your character's relationship with their character! Don't let personal grudges get in the way!!- To the people who get kicked off, I might make you a fancy resort topic where you can just chat with the other people who got kicked off! Maybe you'll even get re-added to the competition, who knows!- IMPORTANT!! Winning the competition in one post *does not* mean your team will win!! People who have the most realistic RP experience will win, even if they really lose. π- Because there's such a large prize, I will be accepting EC donations, if you want to be really nice! Post on my wall if you're interested!~~~~~~~~~Competitors:@sstwins - Pepper@sstwinz - Lightning Bolt@fluffamun - Delilah

(@sstwins here! Feel free to model your video after mine or off of @sstwinz's [the post below this one]! You can have someone film your video too!)Pepper's audition video:Pepper clicked the recording button on his camera and raced back to the wall in his basement where he kept his swords. Pulling one off the wall, he turned to the camera, shaking his shaggy black hair off of his pale face. "Hey. I'm Pepper. I'm 18 years old, and this is my audition video." He ran forward and swung his sword at the human dummy he had placed in front of him, cutting it's head off cleanly. He did a couple of mid-air flips, twirling his sword while he did so (and also going off camera). As he landed on his springy white tennis shoes, he looked straight at the camera and, realizing he was off-screen, took a step to the left. "Why should you pick me to be on Total Drama Colors? I'm a fast, fierce, and determined competitor. I won't let anything, or anyone, stand in my way of winning." Still staring directly at the lens, Pepper drilled his sword into the ground in front of him. He ran around it back to the camera, and ended the video. (Pings [Are you guys interested in joining? @sstwins Lightning is so joining!!!The camera came on to see a light blue wall with a window in the center. There were a lot of posters on the walls, mostly of various sports teams. Through the window a bright blue sky and a green grassy hill could be seen. A girlΓ’β¬β’s voice came from behind the camera. Γ’β¬ΕHow do you tell if itΓ’β¬β’s on? Oh, heh, it says recording." There was some scruffling behind the camera that shook it a little, then a shock of bright blue hair blotted out the camera's lens. A girl walked to the wall, took a deep breath, and turned to face the camera. She had bright blue curly hair and light blue eyes. She was wearing a white tennis style shirt and skirt. Her skin was pale but healthy looking. There was a bright smile on her face. She began to speak directly into the camera. "Hi, umm, my name's Lydia Bailey, but people call me Lightning Bolt! I'm sixteen years old, and I, uh, umm..." The girl frowned like she was trying to remember something. She walked back behind the camera and there was a rustling of paper. She mumbled, "Good at sports, smart, ok, got it!" There was a another rustling and the girl walked back to the wall. A few seconds later the winning smile was back as she started talking again. "I'm smart and also good at sports! I play tennis, volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer, and basically any other sport that you can think of! You should pick me to be on Total Drama Colors because I can be very competitive!" A small beeping noise sounded from the camera, but the girl ignored it. "My sports ability could be very useful in challenges! I could really add something extra to the show! I-" Another beep sounded, then the image turned to static as the batteries died on the camera.

@chowchow2012 I know!! I thought more people would've joined by now! π± Maybe I need to add more EC...@whitefire @chowchow2012 If you guys don't mind, would you tell me why this isn't your kind of RP? Is it because it's super complicated, because you could get kicked off, or something else? Thank you so much!!

@sstwins - I like this idea!"Oh, is this on?" a girl with fiery orange hair and big aquamarine eyes looked into the camera. "Yep, it's on." she said, smiling a bit goofy grin. "Umm, so I'm Delilah... I'm 17... and I'm a ginger!" Delilah said, grabbing her waist-length hair and shaking it in front of the camera. She laughed slightly. "Well, I spend most of my time on Tumblr, eating Nutella and watching anime." Delilah looked at a piece of paper with the stuff she was supposed to say on it. "Oh! What I'm good at? Hmmm..." Delilah sat down on her stool, thinking. "I've been swimming for a couple of years...ah! I took ballet when I was little, but I'm not sure how that would help though..." Delilah giggled into her hand. "Oh! And I guess I'm not an idiot like some people... that's all I really got. I should have prepared a script..." she mumbled to herself. "I may not be a black belt in karate or speak seven different languages, but I think I would be valuable in Total...Drama...Colors!" and the camera fades to black.

@SStwinsWell... First of all, it's a roleplay about people. Normal people with maybe a few unusual qualities, but that still leaves them as normal. In the rules you specifically said that no shapeshifters are allowed, and they have to be "realistic"--no animalistic qualities, or anything fantasy. I get to be a "normal" person every day in my own life. I don't need a roleplay to experience, even if that experience is minimal, being a (somewhat) normal human. I join roleplays because it gives me freedom to see from the perspective of other creatures, to feel another's emotions, to know what it's like to be them, not to pretend to be a character who does the same things I do. This roleplay has hardly any fantasy in it--the characters are typical, athletic, mainstream people whom I see enough of every day. This is all pretty much life as if really is. Okay, so maybe there isn't a game show in real life where people go to abandoned cities and compete there, and get voted off because of something to do with crayons, but really. Other than that it's like school, or something. I would rather roleplay as a chipmunk than a human to be honest, because I have no idea what a chipmunk's life is like! I could look up some things and then just start making it up as I went along, forming little chipmunk societies or going it alone. I would rather be a shapeshifter than a chipmunk, but I'd rather be a chipmunk than a human. Having a shapeshifter as your character gives you freedom: you get to explore different creature lives and determine the one you like most, then make more characters of that kind. Depending on your mood, you can change your shapeshifter character to be whatever you feel like making your character at the moment. I can certainly see why most RPs won't allow it, as it makes it easy for the character to win every fight or get out of a sticky situation, but it's still a great character type. Another thing is I don't really like things that are very realistic. The shows I watch and the choice books I read reflect that: InuYasha, Pokemon, Naruto, Baka and Test, Black Butler, etc. as far as TV goes (note that they are all anime and have some fantasy aspect to them), and Warriors, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, Maximum Ride, Percy Jackson, Temeraire, Harry Potter, etc. as far as books go. None of those are realistic in the slightest.Another thing is that I really don't like this show. The animation style, art style, plot, certain awkward moments... I really don't like it at all. I've caught snatches of it and seen commercials of it, and I've watched a couple of episodes because I was bored, and it's just not my thing. I wouldn't know half of the things about it even if I did join, and would probably just be a hindrance. All in all, I just don't like RPs like this. Sorry.
