Freezing creatures

I know I read something about it when I joined, but I can't find anything about it anymore and I didn't find any searching feature either...

So, my question is : how to freeze a creature ?
If it's via item, how to get it ?

Sorry for the silly question, but I've been looking all over the site and can't seem to find anything.

@zupprika Did you use EC's search feature? That's for searching for particular users and creatures. xD

It's via an item called 'Essence of Litsdnats' ('Litsdnats' backwards is 'Standstil'). This item is usually just referred to as a freeze, though. 😉

You can only get it via CaveCash (commonly referred to as CC or 💵 ). CC is a form of currency used on Egg Cave (the other currency is "EC", which can be freely gained - usually by feeding creatures). It must be bought with real money. CC is used in the Cash Shop Park.

You can also get someone else to freeze it for you (if you trade for 250 CC or a freeze). This is NOT recommended, however, as it is not safe and you can be easily scammed. The process involves your creature being sent to the person (supposedly) with the freeze/CC. They then (supposedly) freeze the creature and trade it back to you - however, your creature is now in their hands and they are not obliged to give it back to you. There is a chance that they may keep the creature and never give it back to you. More is explained here.

No, I didn't use the creature/user search thing, I supposed it would help me much for this problem.

@zupprika Oh, no, I thought you /did/ use that search feature. It wouldn't help at all for this problem, as it doesn't search for questions - only the names of users and creatures. xD I should have clarified.

No problem! By the way, if you're responding to someone on the forums or you want to get their attention on a particular topic, ping them. You can do that by typing @ and then their username - just like I've done at the start of this post. So if I were to ping myself, I'd type @karamel. c: That user then gets a notification that you've pinged them.
