Is there a chance?

A few days ago, I fell with a terrible fever. Felt terribly dizzy and had to stay in bed for the whole two days without being able to predict it beforehand. In these two days, a few of my creatures died. Is there a slightest chance that I might be able to get them back? I wouldn't have been so picky, but one of my most prized eggs died... is there any hope?
(To make matters worse, I can't purchase CC, so Resurrection Stones won't save me.)

@katrinwolf

Your best bet is to just send in a ticket and explain what happened.

I don't know if they will or won't, but it doesn't hurt to try.

@katrinwolf Unfortunately dying creatures are as realistic as possible - you have to take responsibility for your own creatures. Creatures die all the time and we can't possibly ask Ian to revive them all. x3

It really helps if you have less creatures to look after. I know this was unexpected but tough luck. :c

There are /very/ special circumstances where users have been hacked (NOT scammed - read the Trade Safety page) and either their password has been changed so they can't access their account or their creature(s) have been taken then left to die. Ian usually revives then, I think; although these cases are rare so I'm not sure.

@karamel I do realize that it's impossible to revive all the creatures that die on EggCave. I just remember seeing people posting that they lost their creatures while being ill or due to other extreme circumstances, and I remember the other users telling them to contact Ian and try to explain the situation. I just don't know if my case counts.
@bubblez What do you think should the message type be? It's the first time I send one, so now I'm kinda lost 😊

@katrinwolf

Well, I can try and help you out by feeding, but that's really all I can do as I don't have any CC right now

@Katrinwolf

I'm sorry about your creatures dying. That's one thing that is unfortunate about the resurrection stone; they can only be purchased if you have CC on your account. I think it would be handy if the stone was an actual item, and users could purchase one with their cavecash and then send it to another user for a trade or a gift, the way it is done with travels. If that was the case, I would definitely buy one for you. 😊

For now, The best you can do is send a ticket to the Egg Cave Staff. Explain to them that you fell ill, and your creatures died because you couldn't come online. You had a fever; it wasn't in your control, thus I think you might be able to get the creatures back. If a user simply stays offline for no reason and pets die, they can't get them back. However, from what you've explained, you really didn't have a choice.
If you'd like, I can feed your creatures and warn you if any are dying. Your best bet is to ALWAYS have them in Tim's, in case a problem like this occurs again. Also, if you check your cove, the creatures who are dying will have a red exclamation point next to their image, which lets you know that they could die. Try to check that whenever you can, if your creatures aren't in Tim's.

Send in a ticket to the staff about it, and feed your cove and put some creatures in with Tim while you wait for a reply. If the staff finds it appropriate, they may revive your creatures for you. Good luck! And again, I'm sorry about the misfortune. ☚ī¸ I've lost very valuable pets before, but unfortunately, sometimes it can't be fixed.

@katrinwolf

Thanks everyone for being so kind :*) I've already put the critters in Tim's, so now they should be alright, but thanks for all the feeding offers. I'll send in a ticket and wait now... and luckily I still have plenty of good eggs left, so hopefully I'll be able to get new creatures even if this attempt fails.
