Hi guys!! I've been looking for some good click exchanges to help my cove! I use eggcave's click exchange and Yarold's, but are there any others?

@fjhfjh When using Yarold's or Hydra, make sure to put http://eggcave.com/click/XXXXXX instead of http://eggcave.com/egg/XXXXXX - if you put the /egg/ link, your creature(s) won't gain clicks. That's how people get more feeds than clicks.

Just adding in a tip because I was feeding your cove and noticed the imbalanced ratios. x3

Also, make sure to use advanced mode (go to Your profile -> Account) and then set the reset time (go to Your profile -> Links) to daily at 9. c;

Another thing - the 'Lotto' (http://swle.yarold.eu/lotto.php) jackpot is paid out to those who have less than a certain about of credits (I think it's 10k credits but I'm not sure) on the 14th and 29th of every month. At this time, because people have more credits, they can set more links - so that means more links to click! That means gaining more credits, but you also lose a lot more. Just a word of warning, because you'll see a huge increase in the people who have clicked you today. 😉

@fjhfjh If you want them to gain as many clicks as possible, then yes, you need to keep them in the main and dynasty.

If you just want to keep them there to 'balance' your clicks (if you get a minavg - which is a minumum of all your given and received clicks added up over the past 60 days - of 2000, you get VIP status. More on that on the 'How to use Yarolds' page) or help out your dynasty (there's a monthly contest for all dynasties and alliences) then you should just set it as dynasty.

Staying with that point, if you want to keep balancing your clicks further, you will want to keep it as 'history' too - this option is only available if you're VIP, which can also be obtained by balancing 836799 clicks (this number increases every so often - see http://swle.yarold.eu/howto.php#26).

But yes, what you have there is great. c: If you /only/ want to hatch/evolve your creatures then set a limit, too.

@karamel oh my gosh, wow... erm...

so why would people want to balance their clicks though? I thought the more clicks you gave/got were better. I can understand helping the dynasty though 😊 but would it make a difference? I thought as long as they are showing for dynasty then it would help out just as much

so there are 2 ways of becoming a vip: 1) getting a minumum average of 2000 over 60 days or 2) exchanging at least 836799 clicks. is this correct?

@fjhfjh "I thought the more clicks you gave/got were better." Giving and getting clicks = balancing clicks. 😉 If you 'balanced' 6000 clicks, that means you'd receive 6000 clicks and give 6000 clicks. (Doesn't matter how or who.) Note that even if you give more than 6000 clicks, you'll still only be balancing 6000 unless you gained more than 6000 clicks.

If you don't balance your clicks, your credits will either go up (by receiving less than you give) or down (by receiving more than you give). Thus your credits will become negative and you won't be able to receive clicks without any credits, which stops you from balancing - it's a vicious circle. 😋

It's recommended that you give at least 100 more than you receive (which isn't much).

By balancing, you get a better (min) average and a better rank in your dynasty (which means you can gain extra goodies, depending on your dynasty!).

I'm not sure if you misunderstood... I meant that you should /always/ keep your link in dynasty and history, but if you want to gain as many clicks as possible (or want to evolve your creatures much quicker) then you can add them into the main. You /must/ have enough credits to keep up, though.

ok, so the balance is just however clicks you have exchanged?? and why is a balance good??? WOuldn't you want as many credits as you can get? so that you can get a lot of clicks without becoming negative?

haha, yeah 😊 I think I have 2300 credits right now 😊

how about we continue this in yarolds mail? we're taking up room on stuff that doesn't have anything to do with eggcave, I'm not sure the mods like that 😋

@fjhfjh I've mailed you on Yarolds, but technically this is to do with Egg Cave - you asked about click exchanges to use for Egg Cave and you asked about Yarolds. 😉
