What can they do about it?

I'm just wondering...

if I dye the bottom layers of my hair blue or very very light brown (so almost like blond), and my top layers jet black and to school like that,

what can my school do about it? it's a public school and we are allowed to dye our hair natural colors and use a little bit makeup, but I'm not sure about crazy haircolors. One of my friends dyed her whole hair brown from black, so I know that that's okay.

and if I decide to do it, then I have the perfect day. every year, we have a day called "crazy hair day" where everyone makes their hair look really "crazy", so no one would really mind if even if I dyed my hair rainbow colored that day xD

so... what can my school do about it? o:

I'm not sure, but we have the crazy hair day too. They may ask you to dye it back or give you a notice, but I'm not too sure about what they can do.

@newlife

I think they would allow me to dye my bottom layers brown or blond, and when I dye my hair crazy color I use manic panic and that usually fades after 4 days so I don't think I have to dye it back. X3 as long as I don't have to sit alone in a quiet room with my teacher and mom, I think it's gonna be ok. (because I panic ALOT those moments and it feels like I'm gonna faint xD)

Neko-Chan..I see nothing wrong with what you want to do with your hair.

You said your hair is dark anyways?

I think the blue tinting would be cool. Go for it.

Apparently, we have a very strict hair code, but people at my school have the absolute craziest hair. I think you're fin if you're just doing the bottom layers and unnatural color. I can't be sure because I didn't write your school's policy, but I say go for it

@neko-chan My friend died her entire hair bright pink with blonde highlights. Our principle didn't even glance at her. It's a free country. You can do what yo want.

@neko-chan I've done this before, trust me there's nothing they can really do about it ^^
I've dyed my hair with green/red and blue and many other odd unnatural colors and have never gotten 'barked' or harassed by authorities about it.

I'd ask a teacher before. I dunno how they do things were you live, but at my old school they were strict. You'd get suspended, and eventually sent to a different school if you didn't change your hair to a normal color ;-;

Personally, I don't think you'd have a problem. But rather be safe than sorry ^-^

@neko-chan I'd rather ask before doing anything, too. Since both are natural colors, I think there wouldn't be a problem. But better safe than sorry, like blublez already wrote.^^

Yay! Believe in yourself or... something... yeah. I'm 11 and people in my class have the CRAZIEST HAIRS and the teachers find it funny (espicially the Art Teacher). So I didn't think your case would be different.

And I say purple.

lol xD

and I don't think everyone else would be suprised to see me with blue hair, since I am the craziest and weirdest (inh a good way) person in the whole school. (I jump around singing nyan cat and talk with a baby voice, and sometimes wear cat ears and act like one) xD

ok 😸

Neko-Chan..if your hair is already a natural dark color I would think medium tones of fuschia, blue, purple or raspberry would be cool.
Add a bit of metallic glitter to it and you'll be the coolest looking kid EVER!

Anyways..do as you see fit. It's your hair.
